Retail orders must be from 10 to 19 with 10 being best. HOWEVER: In about 99% of cases the difference between 10 an 19 is worth nothing. IF you had the exact same order and date as someone with a higher number than you then yours would be chosen first. Beyond that it doesn't matter diddly...

Agreed, my understanding is that different priorities may matter within one dealership. If the dealership set a later order with a priority of 10 it would be chosen to be built before an earlier identical order from the same dealership that was priority 19. By setting all the orders to priority 19 at the same dealership, there shouldn't be any line jumping within that dealership.

Has anybody who ordered they Granger Motors gotten a vin# yet? Or an ok for production? I ordered my XLT dec 28. Just trying to get an idea how long it's running between ordering, and scheduled for production. Mine is an order code of 19 I think

I have been assigned a build date (well, ok, technically now on my 3rd build date) and I have a VIN. I ordered from Granger on 6/21 (hybrid FE) my "current" build week is 2/14.

I have to say I got a great deal from the largest Ford Dealer in the US. They handled the sale of my truck ok, but they gave me unlimited amounts of Niagara water to drink while I was closing the deal.

I am not exactly sure, we have 361 unscheduled orders as of tonight. I'd guess 250-300 of those were from the last 30 days.

In case anyone was wondering below is the response from Granger on the number of orders and the the estimated wait time for orders placed today.
8-10 months is the current wait time
We have 300 orders

I asked them about the priority and was told that they set all orders to 19 so they should be filled in the order they were placed(subject to the part constraints)

Thanks to both of you and others who are posting helpful info like this... When I buy something at a significant discount (like the Maverick I ordered from Granger), I expect to be treated fairly (as I have been), but don't expect a lot of hand-holding, and posts like this keep us all informed without having to bother them with repetitive minutia.

Fingers crossed mine gets built closer to the 8 month mark, since mine is a pretty uncomplicated build, and the lease on my daily driver ends in August.
