Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. Had I know about allocations I certainly would have looked around more. I know a lot of folks usually travel to Phoenix to buy vehicles because of better deals and taxes, but I figured that with ordering that wouldn't matter. How wrong I was!! Then when I did find out about allocations, I figured that Holmes Tuttle being part of Jim Click that allocations would be no issue, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

They paint it black so you can keep nice and warm on those freezing Phoenix days.

Well, this upcoming week is supposedly when my build was to be scheduled.
I'm holding some voodoo ceremonies to help make this happen

- I have ordered and received my blind spot mirrors for the side mirrors (always use these)
- I have my Browning GMRS antenna
- I have my Diamond NMO antenna mount and coax
- I'm doing evening chants while facing the general direction of my dealership, Peoria Ford

My 6/30 order is supposed to be delivered to Holmes-Tuttle sometime between 1/18 and 1/24 according to the tracker. Apparently has been sitting in Phoenix for about a week now

Edit: Nevermind tracker says it made it to the dealer today

Congrats on finally having a light at the end of a very long tunnel! I just spotted a XL hybrid with a Jim Click license plate, but I have no other info on it. When did you get a build date? Does your Maverick have a SIBL?

Full spec is just XLT + Lux with the SIBL, 360, rear window and a few dealer installed options

I got a build date first week of December but I didn't get notified from Ford but instead asked the dealer about any status updates and got a 1/3 build date and the VIN, then was apparently finished and shipped on 1/6, with seemingly 9 days in transit

Other than the dealer installed option that's my exact build! I ordered it on July 5th and I still haven't received a build date. I'm guessing there must have been a large number of orders between your order and mine, because it seems odd I still haven't got a build date yet. I'm surprised it took so long to transit up from the factory. Anyway, I'm glad you finally have your Maverick!

At this I'm willing to try anything to get scheduled! I wouldn't be so annoyed about waiting, but I'm so tired of seeing others getting build date when they've ordered weeks or months after I placed my July 5th order. Oh Ford why does thee forsake my order?!

The longer I have to wait the more parts I end up with…. wonder if I can build my own truck soon
