Mav XL 2.5l hybrid/CVT here...
I'm one of the guys that likes to change oil early just to get mfg crud out, and
after 'break in'.
Given Escapes are getting 300K+ mil lifespans in taxi duty when well-maintained, I'm
aiming for similar lifespan.
1.) given our driving style (light commute/local, streets/expressways w just some freeway)
best time for 1st engine Oil/Filter change? XL has 450 miles on it now.
I was thinking 1500+ miles - esp given driving style means there was a fair amount
of battery-only street driving.
2.) When should the eCVT tranny fluid be first changed, given above paranoia?
