Wow almost the same build also, mine is an XLT Hybrid with the Lux Package, Co-Pilot 360 with the All Weather Floor Mats in the Hot Pepper Red. Ordered 7/2/21, confirmed later that day, got 12/20/21 build date back in early November, went In Production yesterday afternoon. Hoping for delivery mid-late January.Same here. My build date was 12/13, bumped to today, and the dealer sees 12/23, though the "in Production" note was activated on 12/16. No window sticker yet. But hopefully this means we've missed the issues. Too soon to say, as there could be something more. But this kind of reconciles me to waiting this long for production. (Order confirmed 6/14).
Which is why Ford is recalling the affected vehicles to fix them. So? The badge says Ford and I bought from Ford.
I don't care whose mistake it was.
I hope this is not the start to a long list of issues.
I'm thinking the number of trucks with an extra hole in the tank will be very low. Maybe one or two but they have to check them all since the wrong procedure was followed.I feel like this should have been caught at some point in the process. Gas really stinks even old tanks that have pinholes reek like you poured gas all over the vehicle. You would think someone around it on the line or loading would have said this truck really smells.
I'd like to know the same thing! My guess is, Ford Website is probably considerably behind!so if my VIN isn't on this site my maverick isn't part of the recall?

It's just like they are absolutely perfect themselves and make zero mistakes. Why is everyone always trying to blame the factory workers.![]()

If there was a hole in the tank, the Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) System should detect the problem and set a check engine light. Just like when you forget to put the gas cap on or have a leaky gas cap.
I also never had an issue with a Toyota drop in I had for seven years, I’m good with drop in linersI had a York drop-in bed liner put in on my 2000 F-350 Super Duty when I first bought it. After 21 years I took it out when I was getting ready to sell the truck and the bed still looked like it did the day it left the factory.
Also, the flexbed already has some threaded holes, so watch the bolt length.WARNING TO DIY FLEX BEDDERS!!!
WATCH WHERE YOU DRILL!!!![]()
It wasn't done on the assembly line since the spray-in liner is done off site, and was when they were cleaning out the drain holes in the bed of the spray-in liner material.
