Same here. My build date was 12/13, bumped to today, and the dealer sees 12/23, though the "in Production" note was activated on 12/16. No window sticker yet. But hopefully this means we've missed the issues. Too soon to say, as there could be something more. But this kind of reconciles me to waiting this long for production. (Order confirmed 6/14).
Wow almost the same build also, mine is an XLT Hybrid with the Lux Package, Co-Pilot 360 with the All Weather Floor Mats in the Hot Pepper Red. Ordered 7/2/21, confirmed later that day, got 12/20/21 build date back in early November, went In Production yesterday afternoon. Hoping for delivery mid-late January.

So? The badge says Ford and I bought from Ford.

I don't care whose mistake it was.

I hope this is not the start to a long list of issues.
Which is why Ford is recalling the affected vehicles to fix them.

I feel like this should have been caught at some point in the process. Gas really stinks even old tanks that have pinholes reek like you poured gas all over the vehicle. You would think someone around it on the line or loading would have said this truck really smells.
I'm thinking the number of trucks with an extra hole in the tank will be very low. Maybe one or two but they have to check them all since the wrong procedure was followed.

If there was a hole in the tank, the Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) System should detect the problem and set a check engine light. Just like when you forget to put the gas cap on or have a leaky gas cap.

Why is everyone always trying to blame the factory workers. (n)
It's just like they are absolutely perfect themselves and make zero mistakes.

Mistakes happen - aren't you glad you have a product from a company who fixes them?

And the endless string of Ford TSB's and recalls have begun. I owned my F-150 3 1/2 years. Had 7 recalls. How can some companies get it right from the start, and not use the customers as guinea pigs? When I had my first bout of the freezing door latches, the service writer said Ford did not approve loaners for this all day repair. They thought we should hold the door shut and drive at the same time. Finally got approval for a loaner and guess what.

a. The latches on the loaner froze also.
b. The latches still froze after the repair.
c. Both a & b

C is the winner winner of the chicken dinner.

Oh, forgot there was a new recall the day after I traded it for the Venza.

Makes sense, but I imagine if a drill bit even just did superficial damage, which would not cause any leak, Ford would want to replace it to avoid any issues liability down the road.

I had a York drop-in bed liner put in on my 2000 F-350 Super Duty when I first bought it. After 21 years I took it out when I was getting ready to sell the truck and the bed still looked like it did the day it left the factory.
I also never had an issue with a Toyota drop in I had for seven years, I’m good with drop in liners

What a bunch of idiots, I'm so pissed. Was suppose to be here 11/14, then 12/25, now with 2 recalls it'll be Feb at earliest. Think I'll buy something else and flip this when it comes in!!

I have to weigh in...Our company has had large frame machinery sent out for painting or powder coated. Occasionally they come back with these rubber plugs (shaped very much like those foam ear noise protectors) still stuffed in the threaded holes. This is the proper way to protect those threads! It's wrong to go chase those holes with a drill, you'll likely defeat the dunk phosphate coating to prevent rusting or mess up the threads. Tell manufacturing to do the job correctly! I'm not even sure I'd recommend a tap thread chaser as they would probably cross thread the holes!
