You are correct, sir. My June 30 order still hasn't been scheduled. At least I will not suffer the heartbreak for the next three weeks.Damn. Sucks for those June and July orders that haven't been scheduled yet.
An 11/1 order date for a hybrid....I probably wouldn't plan on seeing that truck until next August if I were you......and that's a maybe. How do you find this out? I mean, I contacted the dealership who I bought mine thru and they haven't even heard that the hybrids had begun production and even some deliveries yet. I forwarded him the Ford comms directors tweet about one dealership receiving their first one from 12/8. Hard to believe he didn't know that production had finally started. He said none of their dealerships orders had VINs yet.
I ordered mine 11/1. Is the que done by order date, obviously first come first serve, but how far down the que are they in scheduling builds? I'm woefully ignorant, first new car, first Ford, first special order. The salesman seems of no use in telling me how it works. Would enjoy some education to help make my patience last longerI'm just so excited and would like a better grasp on when I might expect them to start November reservations. Ideally I'd sell my current car beforehand, but I don't want to sell it too soon, ya know.
Any more information on the process would be greatly appreciated. Or even a link to an existing thread about it.
Thanks!
Feel for you, man. My camry did the same to me when it caught wind of my Maverick purchase. In one fell swoop, the upper and lower radiator hoses and clamps went bad, the 1 & 3 ignition coil went bad (those are located at the back and required me to remove the entire engine cover, windshield wipers etc... just to get to them), and somehow my dipstick and guide tube went missing causing me to fail smog.I knew the next two weeks probably wouldn't. Surprised by the 3rd though. Guess now I have to hope for my car sitting in my driveway before my birthday in May. Unless they extend the Maverick financing program I'm SOL there.
Hopfully my Jeep won't realize I have money saved and break again. (transmission rebuild two months ago)
I totally agree!!!!!!I'm very old and feel MY truck should be built before all you younger guys because I have less time on this planet.
I kind of disagree considering the way they select orders to be built. ALLOCATIONS for dealers seems to be driving things. Sucks to be in a small marketing area apparently! An 11/1 order date for a hybrid....I probably wouldn't plan on seeing that truck until next August if I were you......and that's a maybe.
You should probably contact your salesperson. I received the email in October for a 12/13 production week and never received anything else from Ford. My sales guy emailed me a few weeks later saying I was scheduled for 12/20 which I thought, okay, a one week pushback is not terrible. Then a couple days ago I just had a bad feeling so I emailed him to ask if I was still on for 12/20 and he replied that I was now listed for 1/3/22. Very saddening. My Maverick was scheduled for production the week of dec 13. Here it is Friday the 17 and no email and nothing updated on tracker. This is after I was late availability and pushed back a week. I hope there's not something going on that affected my build![]()

I too was scheduled for the week of 12-13 and I too have heard nothing, although unlike you I did not have my build week pushed back. If you look at the last Tim Bartz live stream (#18) at 1:10 he gives assurance that if you were scheduled this week you will be built this week, and so I guess I will hang on that an try to keep the faith. My Maverick was scheduled for production the week of dec 13. I was notified of the build one week after scheduled date. The email was received on a late Sunday night. My Maverick was scheduled for production the week of dec 13. What does that mean "out of allocations?"I figured the next two weeks would see zero scheduling, but I am surprised by week of January 3.
Doesn't matter. My order is with Chapman, so they were out of allocations.
