If you open the door, then hit the lock button (in front of the handle), the horn will beep twice. Did it a few times by accident.
Under what exact circumstances?

You'll notice post prior to yours spells it out for keyless entry.
You have key or keyless?

I knew Glenn was going to ask you to show your work, not just the answers.

So there is a setting for Feedback for horn response (not the mislock option).
I think the double-honk warning will happen anyway in what you showed.
But some of the others may be different.

Just for completeness - what is your setting on?

Which is what I expected. I did not try the same scenarios with it off since it's hotter than Hades today 😂

I noticed no replies from the OP.
In the interest of science or curiosity I decided to do a @Glen Baker LLC research project into what conditions my 2024 Lariat honks.

Remote started using the fob from 20 feet away, no honks. Unlocked with fob same distance no honks.

Backed into the turn around in driveway , truck on, fob in pocket, exit truck, door open, walked 12' away, no honk.

Closed door, walked away, double honk.

Truck running, fob in cabin, door open, no honk.

Truck running, fob in cabin, door closed, no honk.

Truck running, fob in cabin, pushed lock button on inside of door, double honk.

Truck running, fob in cabin, touched autolock on outside of door, no honk and no locking.

Truck running, fob in pocket, hit lock button on inside of door, locks, unlocks instantly, double honk.

Truck running, fob in pocket, touch auto lock on outside of door, locks, no honks.

Now I can sleep tonight 🤣
If you double lock from max range of fob;
no honk = out of range, did not hear fob
One honk = lock successful
Two honks = lock NOT successful!
Double lock will turn off delay off items early just after double lock (so you can have courtesy lights on to see where you are walking, etc and not have them burn for 10-30 minutes (whatever time you have delay off set for)!!!

Hey! It just occurred to me to exit without getting a honk (I haven't tried it, but,) put into neutral push the "L" button maybe set the emergency brake. 🤷

The shift knob will stay in park position until the fob(s) that were not in truck when truck was locked OR the keypad IS is used to unlock it. I usually only lock my truck running when it's in my driveway or garage and want to charge my 12v for an hour or two without bothering to put noco onto jump pins.
G5 mainly, I do have a g10 but use it on 80-200 ah batteries. Both will follow same routines after batteries get above 5amp float rate.
Since it's small. Have you ever thought about leaving it in the truck and permanently hook it up to the battery under the back seat?
It makes it very convenient although I've only had plug my charger in twice in 2 years.
No one has been able to demonstrate anything detrimental about it and they'd be loath to admit that it could be a better option.
And I still have the original flooded battery that the Maverick came with.
It would sure beat running the vehicle in the garage for an hour

Mine will honk twice sometimes when my wife exits on the passenger side with the engine running and gear selector in Park. I suspect she may be hitting the lock button as she is pushing the door open but she denies it. It's never her fault you know.

Every once in a while the horn will beep twice on my truck with the switchblade key in my hand, truck off and I open the door. I see no reason for this but that is what it does. Not every time thankfully.

If I installed it under the back seat I would not be able to observe the lights on it or take the voltage readings without unlocking the truck and opening the back door which will activate things that will reduce the battery voltage reading by 0.1+0.3 volts. I connect it to the jump posts with the hood up allowing me to get the reading. If the noco is still plugged in the door opening will cause a reduction in the battery reading which will start the noco charge routine. With the hood up the noco ground clip can be removed leaving the jump pins to reveal the 12v battery without active draw reducing the actual reading. You can then take jump pin multiple reading of the 12 volt over several days without disturbing the soc of the battery. If you have meter capable of accuracy in hundredths of a volt you can track battery soc over a week or more if you leave noco unattached. Also rumor has it that mice are less prone to chew wires if hood is up.

I have experienced the double honk a few times. I do not have a proximity key just the flip out key. The other day I parked the Maverick turned the engine off removed key from ignition and opened the door and got two honks. That was a pretty quick sequence. I tried to duplicate if and could not get it to honk. IDK what's causing the double honk, so I consider it an anomaly and ignore it. 😆👍
