Another Thursday passes, and another afternoon daydream runs through my head of this whimsical memory that I ordered a truck in July...

It was Villa Ford. I was the 2nd order at the dealership. Bummed to say the least. When I ordered I was hoping for a Christmas delivery. I have a feeling I'll be lucky to see it before my birthday at the end of May. My Jeep registration and smog is due in April. Blah.. I know I know.. new car, long wait. That really sucks! Which dealership was it? I know that some people who ordered from Villa got their dates.
Ordered 12/13 and received my build date today 12/16. 2/21/22 couldn’t come sooner. Can’t believe it but I got scheduled, hybrid lux Area 51! Still not sure it’s real!

I think it's more that there were a ton of orders in June/July. I wouldn't be surprised if half of the hybrid orders were made in the first two months of reservations.Just speculating (hypothesizing) here...
Wondering how many of the June/July orders still without build dates made changes to their initial order and therefore bumped them down?
That's one reason I'm not worried about the delay, my Equinox value keeps going up. Better trade in.On a positive note, after driving my car for a couple of more months, Carvana thinks it’s worth $1,200 more. So in theory a new car should cost less than a used one? I should be able to make an even trade by the time my Maverick makes it.
That's a good question. I have made no changes to my order.Just speculating (hypothesizing) here...

What's the point anymore in my opinion. No way Ford can get all of us June/July/August (7/7 here) orders scheduled before next summer so I'm giving up hope on getting a MY22. And Ford can't even come out and say "We're doing all we can to clear older orders, etc, we value customers, etc". It's the Bronco rollout all over again as I'm sure Ford's adding fleet orders to the line and South American Ecoboost orders, which takes spots on the manufacturing line for early orders. Shameful.Another Thursday passes, and another afternoon daydream runs through my head of this whimsical memory that I ordered a truck in July...
Same here, I'm a mid June order and I've seen about a dozen or so similar builds get scheduled that were ordered 2 months AFTER mine.Shafted again, but sure enough same builds ordered after me got scheduled. I'm seriously beginning to think I won't see my July 7 order until next Fall or my order will become a MY23. I don't see how Ford can build, or even get scheduled, all MY 22 before they open order banks for MY23. Congrats to those who won the lottery today!
Here to steal thunder - Ecoboost orders are getting filled much more quickly than Hybrids. I've heard of several orders from early December getting scheduled. And dealers are getting them in daily.Holy $hit!! On a 11/5 order!! (Edited: XL, EB with Co-Pilot 360, rear slider window, carpets/liners, hitch, spray-in bed, Carbonized Gray.)
