I agree, CO was great for shots in the fall. I'll miss having it but I think I'll find a new love for VB.
I was in an accident where the truck was rolled over. It didn't make it but it definitely kept me alive so I can attest to the safety features personally.
Edit: spelling
Here's a couple of my previous truck back from the fall of '22. Unfortunately it met is demise last year but I have a new Velocity Blue I'll be picking up next week. Looking forward to getting back in my truck!
Here's a shot a week before catastrophy right after I put a set of wildpeaks on it
I'm late to the thread but glad to see you had a similar experience (in safety, not being in a wreck) as I did. I was in an accident that rolled my maverick back on labor day and it saved my life as well. The truck was of course totalled but I survived and am glad it protected me as best it can...
I ran over a fender screw going past a wreck a couple weeks ago and the dealership wasn't able to successfully plug it. I hadn't even hit 20k miles on those tires.
Instead of replacing the tire I decided to go ahead and upgrade all the way with the Falken Wildpeak Trail A/T tires. I upped the...
FWIW, I don't have anywhere near the data provided but I can provide a real world towing example from my experience.
I took my hybrid from East TN to East Central FL (~11 hour drive) while towing my motorcycle. This was not max towing weight of course but still wanted to put this here as I...
I seem to have the opposite of everyone as I keep seeing people say they have signals but no running lights.
My 4 pin has power to the running lights but I get no signals to the yellow/green for the turn signals. It's just a 5x8 utility trailer to carry my motorcycle so not blocking the...
First tank of gas update: 41.8mpg per the computer, 40.9mpg per my calculation (605.5 miles / 14.803 gal) with roughly a third of those miles electric!
I've had mine a bit over a week and I'm loving it. Same reasons everyone's already mentioned (easy to see, feel more visible on the road to other motorists, just a fun color)
I saved these to my potential accessory list a while back. They're relatively cheap and I would imagine hold a clamshell well enough. There's a Maverick owner who uploaded a pic with the bars attached in the reviews so it does work with our trucks.
