Yes Ser you are absolutely right. I did bought this from COpart, my first experience but appears to be not a smart move. I mean it looked like body cosmetic damage and rear door panel, bumper and Hitch damage from pictures which i thought i will fix and wont care about the body repair since i am keeping it for long run. But then found this after delivery. But am just shocked at maverick rails being bent this bad with not a major rear end. I mean it's a brand-new truck which i got for $14K. What's confusing me is- is it actually rail frame or merely the thin flanges behind the frame connecting the hitch. I am ok getting this repaired some one and paying a decent amount. But at this point am getting confusing answers as to what needs to be repaired. ANy similar experiences and thoughts are appreciated.
Have them buy it back they know what You paid for it.

The Maverick is a "Modern" vehicle.
ALL Modern vehicles put human safety FIRST = Crash-Worthy.. (Throw-away) 🙄
Vehicle Longevity is SECOND...

Yes, YOU Tried to get a cheap vehicle..
And You did not know what CO PART IS....
YOU will not get it Registered and Certainly WILL NOT GET INSURED.. .🙄

I have absolutely no intent to all to sell it. And answers i was talking about were from Repair shops not from this forum. I needed a vehicle and i found this on Copart and bought. have no intent to make money but to save for sure if i can. Which end caps are you talking about btw?
If it's from copart it already has a salvage title?

Never mind, I misunderstood what came from there.

Wow, sorry to see/hear the circumstances on this one. Not to be mean - but this appears to be not doing enough due diligence prior to purchasing a totaled vehicle. That will be extremely expensive to repair back to factory specs and road worthy, in addition to what you paid for it. At best a salvage title, insurance ? maybe liability only. That's my summary of thoughts. Good Luck

Good lord, there are a LOT of crashed Mavericks on CoPart!

HRG
Yeah I had to look for myself. I also noted most are salvage titles or so destroyed it would cost much more to repair than buying new.

For an extra $60 a YEAR this addition to my full coverage policy gets me a NEW never titled Maverick paid for including
the inflation/higher sticker price,
New off the show room floor for FIVE years!

I will trade mine in just before that.
It ain’t rocket science people.
Properly insure your throw away Maverick.

FWIW I’m under a full Ford warranty for five years and 100,000 miles which ever comes first.

The best part, my wife totally likes the coverage, and I get a new toy within five years.
Win Win ! :’P

It's fixable, but expensive to do. Not only that, not many shops are able to handle high-strength steel, which requires special equipment and training.

It appears " Vik" bought a totaled Maverick from co-part, thinking it was an easy rebuild. And had no idea that boron steel cannot be heated and straightened or unbent without it becoming brittle.
He had two body shops tell him that, the boron steel rails could not be straightened.🤷🏻‍♂️
Now he's asking for our opinion.

Not sure how that work? Why would they buy back now. They clearly hid all these damages, but i dont see them agreeing to this now and buying back. ANy thoughts would be appreciated.,

Oopsie.
Hey Bud, this could be fun for you. I bought it online since am from rural grand forks and there aint no COpart. So, i saw this online and tried my due diligence, but couldnt see this in person for sure as this was in MN. Having said that, if you hvae a good suggestion as to how can this be fixed. I wiuld appreciate thta.
