To any of my fellow Sparebumper/Superbumper (SB)users - Yes our Mav's offset license plate location is slightly 'visually blocked at certain angles' by the length of the SB.
That didn't bother me so much as it was not directly covering the plate and the plate could be seen if the view was just changed. **Speed cameras and toll cameras have no problem reading it, lol).
Recently there has been legislation in FL regarding 'clear view of license plates'... in the spirt of that I was recently pulled over (for a minor speeding infraction, but was not cited and instead the conversation with the officer went to my license plate 'visibility'.
I got a 'warning' and advised to do something about it.
So.. I found this on Amazon - Amazon.com: RCKJNJ Front License Plate Bracket Holder - Universal Front Mounting Kit, Plastic Bumper Car Tag Adapter with Copper Threaded, with Screws Caps and Stainless Steel Zip Ties : Automotive and relocated the plate onto my SB.
Pictures here just show it mocked up - I have installed it fully with steel ties. (not the ones from that item as they were not enough) - but you get the drift..
License plate secured with the screw hardware included and its looking good. No visibility issues now.
Drive safe and have fun y'all!
