For those who got a good deal from Carvana in the past, that was great. However, it almost sunk the company because of their inability to manage their resources. But look at the company now. Their stock price shows a different story. The time to sell to Carvana was 2021 / 22

After I got my 2024 XLT Hybrid, I sold my 23 Maverick XL Hybrid to my son for about 1/2 its value even though its value at the time was more than I paid for it because Ford had given me a substantial discount since I had to wait almost two years for it!

The day after ordering my Mav , back in October 2021 I sold my 2017 Frontier to Carmax for $1500 MORE than I paid for it when it was new !
Those were crazy times !
Got the Mav Hybrid for the $19,995 , plus delivery , added the XLT package and Moonroof , took advantage of the ZERO percent financing that was available at the time ( bought treasury bonds with the cash I had earmarked for the purchase ) , free spray in bed liner because someone at the dealer scratched the inside of the bed .

39 mpg average , still the original 12v battery , Various reprogramming recalls , but Iim still happy !
Overall , the best deal out of the 50 vehicles I have owned in my life !

When I had my white XL, a buddy showed up in a brand new XLT in Desert Sand. I went, “D’oH!” Envy envy covet covet!
When I went shopping after being hit and totaled, my favorite local Ford dealer had ONE 2025 gasser left in that color, and a bunch of hybrids I wasn’t interested in.
They still miraculously had it when my settlement cleared the bank deposit!

Carvana offered $21,400 for my 2022 Camry SE, but they are about 7k miles lower than actual. Dealer offered $19,500, so I'm doing the courtesy trade with the dealership and my friends are getting it.

Need to drop a new radiator in my 98 taco and then try to sell it for a couple of thousand or whatever the market will bear. Someone once told me not to sell it for less than 5k, but that might be pushing it with all the dings and dents and rough paint. Still runs quite good.

Ouch! That is one reason I won't own a house surrounded by trees or ones that are taller than 20 ft and or next to the foundation. Large old trees are beautiful but dangerous. Keep them trimmed and check health.

Actually I had bought a second set for Winter for the Sport and put Wildpeaks on them. Those went on the Mav at the dealers before I drove the Mav home.
