A good number of people have done sound deadening in the doors, behind the back seat, and along the firewall. Some of the really enthusiastic people have pulled down the headliner as well.

Before I got my truck I intended to put some Kilmat on the rear behind the rear seat but with the B&O system there would be a lot of removal to achieve so I've decided not to. I do think the Maverick is a bit louder with some road and wind noise but it is nothing egregious.

I put it between bed and cab because I rode back there once and it seemed very loud but haven't been back there since, so hilariously, I can't say if it helped. I think the tires are the biggest contributor to cabin noise, which overall, isn't bad.

At highway speeds my Mav Hybrid is very quiet. Road noise or high winds can affect that though.

there are a few people who have done this all over the floorpan to decrease road noise. I am not aware of any of them testing with a decibel meter before or after, but I'm skeptical as to how much that would help. with stock tires other than Tremor, I doubt road noise is much of an issue, anyway.

I did it to reduce resonance as I have a 500 watt amp and subwoofer, and with just replacement front speakers, the factory B&O amp is very capable of rattling the front doors.

I did not attempt to cover everything in the rear, in fact I only did where the subwoofer is located and a few strategic other areas, because I was not trying to kill road noise. I deadened both front doors relatively aggressively but I've seen others that have installed a lot more.

the other thing I've seen asked about, but no posts yet of anyone who has actually done it, is sound deadening for the inside of the hood. there are specialty products made for this, which a person would definitely want to use due to the underhood heat especially on ecoboost models.

most of the road noise I hear in a maverick is wind, and the 2025 has different window gaskets that I hope (and assume) work better than 22-24.

B&O definitely rattles the front door panels. I want to add insulation but I am afraid I'll do more harm removing the interior skin than I will do good adding kilmat.

I agree that adding for sound deadening and reduced noise is not likely to yield good results, I think noise is entering the cabin from areas other than the floor board and behind rear seats. Remember a lot of the underside already has a felt liner with a gap between it so there is already that in place.

My 25 Lariat Hybrid to me isn't much if any quieter than my 23 XLT Tremor was. I'll give you the tire noise is reduced with the crappy goodyears but that is replaced with a cacophony of hybrid noises and sounds.

My Lariat sound deadening windshield really helps. Someone said the up charge is minimal if you ever crack your windshield.
Is there a schematic that shows added Lariat sound deadening ?
Something you could use as a guide.

My 2024 Lariat is that quiet and my B&O does not rattle anything at any volume level.

When I rode in the back of my Maverick, I was surprised how loud it was. I did put sound insulation behind the back seat but when I was able to get back there for a ride it was still loud. However, on my second ride I noticed a huge difference in noise depending on the road surface. Currently, I'm thinking the tires are a major factor.

I think you might be right. There’s not much to be done with the tires, but I will consider insulation options.

I recently had my windshield replaced using the special glass, and I’ll be darned if I can tell any difference.
