A little late to the party. But I ordered an XLT with Lux on 11/1 just got my build date this morning around 11. Build date feb 14 pretty stoked.

Congrats to all that have received they're email. I can't go through 17 pages. I have not yet received an email. Ordered Sept. 14. Now I'll go and have my pity party off line.

Both last week and this week the latest hybrid orders I saw getting scheduled were made in early August. I ordered 8/21 and I don't think there's reason to be too disappointed yet.

Yeah I think some of us who have the package with the spray-in automatically probably are low on the list since we can’t remove it.

I took mine off and added the drop in for the lux package the first of November, hasn't helped yet ha!

After not getting a build date last week, I decided to see what I could find local. Found a dealership about 2 hrs away that the sales manager had put in an order for a hybrid but didn't want the truck. I emailed the folks at Chapman and told them to go ahead and take off the courtesy delivery and I was no longer interested in my original order. I put a deposit down and have a build date of 1/24.
No more traumatic Thursdays waiting.

hah! I forgot I put that in there. Thanks for reminding me. I’ve been a little cranky about mine lately but I just need the reminder of the situation the world every once and awhile and thankful that I am even able to order one.

What number have you guys been calling to see if your order was confirmed and also if they have your vin? my dealer is clueless

I’ll have to ask my rep doesn’t seem that knowledgeable though. So what you’re saying is the tracker might not show the build date but the dealers system will?

I am over this whole thing. I ordered an ecoboost from Long McArthur on July 15. I live local. People got build dates ahead of me who just placed orders with the same specs as mine. When I asked about one they had on the lot, I was told I have to pay 2500 over MSRP when I already have an order through them. I’m going to look elsewhere. Tired of being played. All the YouTube charismatic videos from them are all for show. They just want your orders. When you need something out of courtesy to a local customer, they will try to have you pay over MSRP. Just wrong.

Is there any truth to the belief that small, low volume dealers are sent to the back of the line as far as priority goes when it comes to scheduling?

No, based on allocations the region gets and orders at the dealers in the region that the factory wants to build or can build.
