This is a follow-up to a previous post (That I can't find). I took my hybrid XLT into the dealer after the battery went dead five different times. Ourisman Ford (NOVA) said the cause was my after-market amp. I took it to the audio shop that installed it. They ran a number of tests and said it...
I used 2 x 10 54.25" and it didn't fit with the trim. I rounded the corners as you suggested and it worked but that length and height is a helluva lot of wood. Thinking that black recycled lumber no more than 2" x 8" is what I'd like. Now to find it . . .

Congrats Chris! It's good see your hybrid from Ourisman come through. My build is similar to yours (mid-August order) so I guess any Area 51s we see on the road there's a good chance it's one of us. Please let me know how Ourisman/Mike handle the transaction. DanO

I too had a good experience with Mike Powers. Straight talking, did not push and knew his stuff. I haven't heard from him since I placed my order in mid-August but then I didn't expect to. Time will tell.
Well written, well reviewed. I give you and the truck an A+. We should all be satisfied that there aren't any glaring flaws with the Maverick. Time will tell about the mechanical components.
