Hasn’t even been a year. I bought a custom 2025 XL from the factory last January. If you want to see my introductory post, read this:

Well, it’s now totalled. I got rear-ended while yielding to oncoming traffic by some teenager in an F250. Didn’t seem like a total loss to me at the time, but that’s what we all thought, right? The unibody of the Mav can’t withstand much impact.
The upside is I’m not at fault. And I will get a new 2025 very soon with the insurance settlement. I’m planning on upgrading from an XL to XLT. I won’t have to get new wheels again, or add the bed tie-downs. I’m also looking forward to having push start and keyless fob. But…obviously I’ll miss my old Mav and wish this never happened. What is the deal with Mavs getting rear-ended? I know there’s a post about this but it’s just ridiculous!
