Having put in my order Oct 11th, I don't expect to get scheduled til march at earliest.

I'm pretty understanding since you figure that scheduling has to have a lot of factors in it, such as region and how many Mav's can fit on that train going to that region. Compare that to how many orders in that region. Then dividing that up to how many dealers in that area. And trying to make this new truck visible in as many places as possible just for marketing purposes.

Just keep your hopes up and maybe next week.
I bet next week is a clean up week, meaning let's pray in 2 weeks. But don't have my hopes up with the way it's going.

You've already got an EcoBoost and a schedule for a hybrid. What is Ford's problem... July 7 order here and nothing. Thanks, Ford.

I have 6/24 So I guess join the club, I beginning to think the Hybrid Maverick is nothing more than Urban Legend
Obviously Ford uses pretzel logic to assign scheduled production dates for people, As all of us from June are being overlooked for people that ordered after the fact. I just hope that somebody from Ford reads all these threads and finally realizes they're screwing over too many people that People are gonna bail out and tell them to stick their truck up their you know what

Ford big whigs don't care about us; they only want to please large dealers to make the most $. You'd think Ford would have someone watching this forum, but doubtful.

Not @Gabbydad's fault, he got tired of waiting so he scored an Ecoboost off a dealership. I've been waiting since July 5th so I feel your pain!

Not dinging him at all-good for him to find an Ecoboost. Turns out that was pretty crappy of Ford to build stock Ecoboosts before customer orders though.

Who is your dealer? I’m also in Houston (Tommie Vaughn Ford) and seem to get passed over… saw my exact build get scheduled today even though it was ordered a month after mine.
Argentina nor Brazil are getting hybrids.
Only the US and Canada are getting Hybrids. Not even Mexico is getting any.

Doesn't matter that they aren't getting hybrids; their productions slots take over hybrid orders in the US.

I totally agree with you about that! There shouldn't be any stock orders built until all retail orders are scheduled! Which I don't understand why Ford doesn't just build retail orders because even if the potential buyers turns down the order then the dealership can sell it, thus still getting a sell! Instead retail orders are getting passed over for stock orders!

Now salesman did tell me something that I haven't heard before (maybe I just missed it), but he did say I could opt for the "new" XLT LUX package, which is just swapping out the spray-in for the drop-in liner. Tempting, but no thanks, I've waited this damn long (5 months now) so I'd might as well wait some more and get what I ordered!
I'd definitely say stay with the spray-in. We don't even know if any Mavericks with the drop-in have started scheduling so you might just be moving to a line that won't see production dates for who knows how long.

Any idea about the number of Mavericks schedule today? Patiently waiting since July 21st once again no build date no email. Guess I just need to stop watching all the online hype about the mass waive of Hybrids being schedule.

No they aren't. Ford only has supply contracts for Hybrids that equals 40% of their production. That's why they closed the books. They are booked up in Hybrid production through June 2022. They will get Hybrid equipment deliveries over the whole model year. Those suppliers run their own factories and have contracts to deliver them over the whole MY.

They will not be able to run full bore production on Hybrids ever (at least not for very long). There will always be a lot of fallow production beyond what they can source Hybrid parts for. They probably are building every single Hybrid they can each week from here forward. Because the backlog order time for EB is not long for units without material constraints. And it's going to get lesser every month.

They could see the writing on the wall early that they may run out of production backlog for the EB. Probably why they are adding Brazil and Argentina production. Ford can't afford to waste that capacity. Although, they could have started flooding U.S./Canada dealers with EB stock units. I would have preferred this method. We have a new vehicle shortage in this country. But I fully expect them to make decisions in their best interest. Not mine.

I'm sure next MY they will be able to increase their Hybrid part supplies for greater numbers. They are probably finishing up those supply contracts and logistics now. But I expect significant price increases to occur on all vehicles. But especially the MAV Hybrid. At a minimum, they will likely raise it to the same price as the EB. No Hybrid discount.

OMG! Tommie Vaughn Ford in the heights is my dealer too. I spoke to my sales rep last week and was told they know as much as we know as Ford communicates simultaneously and I believe that. Ford is not being upfront with the delays. it does seem that now this is now an allocation issue. I picked these guy over Chastang Ford off 610 since I live right in the middle of these 2 dealer. I wonder if Chastang does have allocation as they primarily serve the commercial trucks Market.
At least I’m not alone. At the very beginning I told them about some discount program I get with my employer so I thought maybe they were stringing me along hoping that I would back out and they could turn around and sell it at a mark-up. Probably just being cynical though… they do seem like good people, just don’t seem to know a whole lot about what’s going on.

In fairness to Ford they said since day one there would be an early wave for dealer stock. These were built in August/Sept. I def lucked out.
