Just received my build email !! Scheduled for 1/24/22. Ordered on 7/15/21. XLT Hybrid, Area 51 with Lux package, 360 and moonroof..

is it me, or did everyone that got an email today get scheduled in the LAST 2 WEEKS of january? There's 3 other weeks...... (Please correct me if I'm wrong).

There are actually other explanations for it.

allocations? dealer has plenty with to cover all 7 hybrid orders and 1 ecoboost at the dealership.

Did they drop the ball on ROVP? Can't believe not even an ecoboost sent to production.

Nope, everyone who ordered as an ROVP and everything's good to go. But still nothing. I imagine Granger (my dealer is in Iowa) keeps screwing us over by taking all the builds. which is shitty.

Seems like they’re no longer doing an entire build week scheduling period at once. Who knows how many more weeks we’ll actually have of scheduling January builds. Not holding my breath either way.

That's true but it does seem like that may have changed just this week in some cases. Check out the latest video from @fordvideoguy :

Thanks. I had not watched this yet. But, according to this video the type of change that could jeopardize the order date would be a change to the equipment group (i.e. XLT to Lariat, etc.). He did not say removing a stand alone constrained item presents this risk.

I bet this is it for US customers and the rest in early January go towards fleet and South American orders. Thanks, Ford.

Crazy on how the scheduling is done, Dbarr ordered almost the exact same build as me from the same dealer yet he ordered in June and I ordered 8/2 and I got a build date. Only difference in builds was he ordered 360 and I didn’t. Both hybrid, XLT, Lux, Moonroof, rear window.

There's often some cleanup where a few orders might fit into the weeks which were scheduled previously, but the lion's share end up in the new weeks at the end of the block.

• Time email was received (include time zone!)
• Your scheduled build week
• 🛻 All relevant build info (e.g., velocity blue hybrid lariat lux + all weather mats)
• Your region, if comfortable (e.g., southern California or even Los Angelos, CA)
• Your original order date
• Dealer (e.g., Chapman, Horsham PA)
