Of course I want my truck as soon as possible but I would be okay if I'm scheduled for February or March but I just want my date so I can stop stressing about it and plan my life around it. I'm due to fly across the country at the end of February and have this anxiety that my truck will deliver while I'm out of town. Just give me the date.

That was the original plan. 75K miles, I just check KBB.COM, it is worth about what the Mav Lariat Lux etc. will be costing me.

I need a "real" truck when I need to tow the tractor. The thing is, I don't do that often (a couple/few times a year), so I guess another option would be to do a rental on those rare occasions, sell the F150 and get both the Mav and Bronco Sport and have the neighborhood "short bus" driveway.

Awesome for you if it happens today. But tees me off even more given that Chapman had 48 scheduled today and my dealer hasn't had 1 scheduled yet. Not even an Ecoboost. At this point, all i said about Ford caring about large dealers over everyone else is looking true.

I missed what dealerinsider said in what you quoted. (And I'm not exactly sure how to interpret it.) All I know is I've seen a good number report changing their orders to remove constrained items. In several cases it appeared to help expedite as they were scheduled shortly thereafter. And some of those have been hybrids.

That was me who asked - and the dealership was Chapman.

Kind of a bummer that ordering early clearly doesn't put you in front of the line. I was a bit excited since people who ordered in October were getting build dates. Maybe next week!

What in the word is happening with Ford? I ordered on 7/6 and still no built date. It pisses me off seeing august and September LUX hybrids being scheduled ahead of me. I guess my dealer in Houston TX does not have allocation.
I called Ford Marketing on Monday and was able to confirm my order was placed correctly.

Come on Ford!! Follow order seniority.
