I still haven’t even see the maverick in person. I really hope it looks nice and larger in person

In my opinion it looks far better in person. I wanted the car because it is cheap and efficient plus it has a bed, the looks were definitely a mild negative for me but I don't buy cars for looks. After seeing it in person in my least favorite car color (usually) which is silver I was surprised at how good silver looked and also how good the car looked. It is much lower than I expected which is a mild downside for me, but it is very handsome and roomy. Despite being a cheap car it felt kinda futuristic, I like the newer age "nice" cheap crap where even hard plastic can be made interesting. The tailgate feels a bit cheap when it falls gracelessly but you can buy the damper for that which is what I'll do. Even though it is pretty low the car has a reasonable size in my opinion, the pictures next to other trucks do make it look comically small but if you're used to a crossover then you're getting essentially that plus some length.

I would prefer not to drop the liner since aftermarket ones around my area are more expensive then getting it with the truck. I contacted Ford Monday and asked if anything is holding up my order and they said everything looks good... Though most people on this site say spray in will hold up your order... So who knows...

I have seen 2 on the road and both times I just thought it was a regular pick up at first until I realized it said Maverick on the back. They don't look small is what I'm saying.

how about continually passing us early orderes over in favor of others? how about the poor communication. how about the not telling us that hybrid is limited to 40% production. the list goes on and on. Or forgetting that small dealership exist. Where's all the regular fuss about small town business trying to survive during the pandemic, etc-seems to not apply here for some reason or Ford would actually consider orders from them. The list goes on.

Mine has also been a ten since I ordered on July 21st and nothing... I'm going to contact my dealer tomorrow if I don't receive an email today and drop the spray in liner.

Order placed in late June for an EB Lariat Fx4 then I removed the hard Tri fold tonneau, went to Priority 2 immediately and got scheduled the following week in September 23. Built last week and it’s inbound now. Have patience, enjoy the Holidays and your truck WILL be built! It’s tough, but I’m crossing my fingers for all you guys and gals to get your well deserved truck soon!
