I have just under 1000 miles on my 2024 EB. One thing I'm impressed with is the A/C. Getting in the cab on a hot sunny day, and the cab cools off almost instantly. Our RAV4 is a great car, but seems to take a few miles before the car's inside cools off.
Is everyone else's experience similar?
So far, I really like the Maverick :inlove:

This was actually something I was initially worried about coming out of a Honda that would quickly produce an interior temp that would allow the hanging of meat. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well the Mav system seems to work including the auto part of the climate control. I'm finding I don't have to adjust the fan up and down as much as I have with other vehicles. (y)

Yes I love it too. I traded a chev Colorado for my Mav and night and day difference in air. I have been too cold in mine 😂 if that’s a thing.
When your 82 cold can happen anytime. Not so much now with the pacemaker.

Had my 24 EB since Sept... Had a few hot days in the last few weeks so was able to check out the A/C. Yesterday truck showed the temp outside at 96 on the highway here in central MA. Air worked fine... Used Auto with temp set at 70 and the lowest fan setting. Did put on Max when I 1st got in the Truck... Within a couple minutes switched to auto.

This is first vehicle that I have had with a sunroof or the opening back window and I like having both. I got to my Mav at 10 last night and it was still hot from sitting in lot the last 4 days. I opened both and air was fresh within a minute or 2. The AC is great but it annoys me that it automatically turns on every time I start vehicle. This vehicle seems to have a lot of features that portend to know better than I. Lights that default to auto mode, unlock features that default to auto, AC, etc.

Couldn't agree more. Probably one of the best A/C's out there. Or it is the fairly small cab area and no sunroof.

Yes my 24 Lariat Hybrid gets ice cold. I sometimes find myself shivering. Might be one of the best working A/C units I have ever had in a vehicle.

My 24 Ecoboost would freeze my nuts off if I left it on low.

I have to agree, the AC works great. My truck is dark blue and gets hot in the sun.

My 2025 Lariet Hybrid annoyed me too with the A/c turning on, headlights & Autolock features. Using Forscan I changed the headlight setting to "last known position" and turned off the Autolock feature. Forscan also allowed me to change several other annoying settings like three ding sound at startup, seat belt message on dash every time before starting, etc; however, the A/c still intermittently comes on when not commanded even when "Auto" climate control mode is not selected. Don't know a resolution for that. FYI, new vehicles sold in America now use a new A/c refrigerant vs R134A that's been around for years.

Maybe check forscan to turn off "automatic defrost" settings as that periodically turns on to check or change air temp away from dew point?

Will look at it at first opportunity. Not instantly recalling anything related to "automatic defrost" but will check. Disclaimer: I'm not the author, nor do I take credit, for Forscan programming. I'm just a semi-tech guy using the product. Firmware mods for the Mav are slowly coming, but older Fords have MANY worthwhile mods.
