I would suggest resetting back to base as built from your saved files, clearing DTCs and confirming everything is good.

Then go through the Forscan changes one by one and understanding what you are changing, and confirm no DTCs for each item changed. Yes this will take a while.

Don't just randomly put in what others have added as many things are option selectable in the menus and have no effect on activation of the ACC/lane centering.
Thanks and I appreciate the response. I have been working through doing basically that. I did comparisons like Itmoto had suggested comparing my As Built to 6 Lariats with ACC and 6 without ACC. I've been trying to look at each change (within groups) and if I see something affected, I write it down, but a lot of them don't seem to give me any sign as to what they might be doing. I even looked at BlueSec1's posting and tried a lot of his settings one at a time (but skipped ones that his Original values were a lot different than mine and his change didn't match up to the Lariat's with ACC) but that hasn't worked yet either.

I've been able to figure out what value changes give me actual errors like:
IPMA 706-01-02 2076 553A A4 I get the Pre-Collision Assist Not Available and the Front Camera Fault Service Required errors.
IPC 720-04-01 0203 0140 00
720-04-02 5553 0A gives me the orange collision emblem at the top of my screen.
BdyCM 726-04-05 BE28 8141 90 Turns off the two errors above, but my Cruise Control button is no longer functioning.
And then just most of the rest of them I can't see anything that they are doing.

I started trying some of the ABS settings noted in BlueSec1's post but that started giving me a whole bunch of brake errors and in fact groups I hadn't even touched turned out to be all zero's, so I had to reset all the ABS values back to the original values to clear up all the brake errors.

So, I'm just really confused or just can't figure out what I'm looking for. I've been spending the last couple evenings sitting in my truck for about 4-5 hours each night trying values from a fresh start each time (and creating spreadsheets galore on possible changes along with what notes I find if anything).

You have a hybrid? What trim do you have and do you have the CP360 package?

Undo everything and revert back to zero (as built) from Ford. Make sure everything works including cruise control and there are no DTCs. I don't want to be chasing ghosts.

Are you 10000% sure you wired the can high/low to the correct pins on both the IPMA and the ACC module? And you used 18-20 awg GXL wire?

Change the switch to get it working and let's call that the baseline.

You're familiar with this spreadsheet correct? And know how to read it?

Hi, I can do a review of your truck remotely.
I have a small business here, and I successfully retrofitted ACC in 5 trucks.
You can check my ig @todofordsync3

Yes I do have a hybrid. it's a 2024 XLT. I do have the CP360 package and the luxury package also.

I just got done pulling the bumper off and rechecked the wiring to the IPMA and CCM. I've confirmed I have a direct short between CCM pin 2 to IPMA pin 11 and then also between CCM pin 3 to IPMA pin 3. So now, I'm 10000% sure they are wired correctly. I used 20 awg wire. It's not GXL wire but what I used was for outdoor wiring and I put a high temp braided wire loom over the entire area from just inside the cab to the CCM.

Did you mean for me to change the LH steering wheel switch back out to the original switch? I would prefer not to do that since I did have the new switch working at least for the radio volume and the normal cruise control functionality was working.

I got everything reset back to the original configuration (other than the SCCM values for the LH switch). Currently there aren't any DTC errors. The Cruise Control button works as a normal cruise control. Pressing the other two new buttons on the LH switches don't do anything now (no error messages).

The spreadsheet you referenced is different from the one I originally found which was by EONR24. That one only had basically the EZ values and very few of the As Built values so I was very confused with it in knowing what was what. So I'm just starting to look at that one now. Initial looking at it, I'm not sure I do understand how to read it yet.

OK great that will help, our vehicles are similar although I don't have CP360.

Awesome thanks for double checking everything. I know a PITA but you just never know. That wire should be fine.

You can keep the new switch in. No DTC errors OK this is perfect. You're set up. I assume you've saved all the modules at this point and have them in a folder for safe keeping, correct? In case we screw something up.

So, the way you read that other spreadsheet is you can transcribe what variable you are changing and what it means by decoding it. Here is what I was able to decipher for example (NOTE: don't use this as I don't have CP360 and have just a normal XLT with no options and others have reported they didn't change some things and it still worked). See the right-hand column and what I mostly was able to pull out of that spread sheet for what we are changing:

Ford Maverick DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package 1746926340195-v

The good news is the original post on this whole thing has CP360 and lux IIRC, so you should mostly be OK EXCEPT there was an error somewhere in their coding. Maybe you read that? We'll figure it out.

I have some time Sunday morning or all day Monday if you want to talk on the phone through this stuff.

ALSO: install this program:

CompulsiveCode - AsBuilt Explorer

It will allow you to quickly compare as built data. So you can check other XLT CP360's VINs after you download them and compare them to yours, we can use the big spread sheet I gave you to see what changes they have made.

Thank you. I will send you a PM with my phone number. I probably would like to get with you on Monday so I can get this done and tomorrow I need to spend the day with my wife.

I do have my original settings stored in a separate folder on my computer. I also do have the AsBuilt Explorer which has been beneficial doing all my comparisons.

Just starting to look at what you have above for example since a lot of that seems very familiar with what I have tried (and was probably the wrong configuration for my vehicle).
But trying to start to understand the spreadsheet.

For the first one for BdyCM. I do see that the 90 says that's for the EFC Gasoline. Would mine be more like 18C EFC Gas/Electric Hybrid • CC Cruise Control • CMBB Collision Mitigation by Braking; Gen 1? But, if that's true, how would the 3 digit value go in place of the 2 digit **--

For the ABS I can see what the '4' does and what you show. But for the last set, mine initially has 05 (and all the lariats I've compared to also have the same 05 but it looks like 02 would match what was put into the BdyCM value.

I'll dig more into this to make a list of other questions I have when we talk on Monday. It's all the big words/acronyms through out the spread sheet that I don't understand either.

I saw that when I was first starting and had the CCM wiring wrong for the Canbus.

Thanks for the response. I am fairly certain everything is wired up correctly. However I haven't changed anything in forscan. Do I have to change a VIN number or something in order for this to recognize the CCM? I have a 2022 XLT w/360. Just wondering if that would prevent it from even looking for the CCM. Also, I didn't load up a profile or anything either... I read that was a NO NO. So with all that, any chance its just a VIN or something? Do I need to change the AS BUILT data as well for it to actually enable the ability to see the CCM?

I looked at my notes. I did not make any changes with Forscan until I saw the CCM module show up.

Notes:
Reversed the CAN+, CAN- wires temporarily
Forscan scan now has C-CM module listed
Started entering the ACC MOD values
Most of the DTCs cleared out besides the C-CM Missing Calibration, CCM Not Initialized

Gotcha, I definitely color coded everything and ensured the CAN+ and CAN- were properly installed. But, worth a shot I suppose. Hopefully its something silly like that.

Also, used the fuse tap in the #3 position, kept the 10AMP fuse in the lower slot, and added a 5AMP fuse to the upper slot. Do you think that could potentially cause an issue?

Another thing is the ACM and SCCM. I assume the SCCM DTC is because I added the new switch, but i am not sure the ACM thing is (audio control module).... Super weird.

I wrote down my colors for CAN BUS+,- and still got them reversed.

I'm using switched +12V for CCM from the same fuse tap for my dash cam F1/F2
So I'd think F3 would be the same.

Ok, so I reversed the wires and nothing changed. Put them back, then did a continuity test on everything and each wire is correctly ran. I still get the same behavior…. Everything is wired correctly, I am getting power to the radar but nothing is showing up in FORScan….

I'd try different Forscan versions.
If no effect, then I'd try different 12V connections.
I expect you've seen the IPMA connector wiring photos in this thread already.

yea I have seen those. I also verified I am getting the 12 volts at the radar as well.
