Am I crazy? No idea how you would load the suspension with the wheels off. And I've had my coffee today too 🤪
place a jack stand or cribbing under the lower suspenson arm, ball joint, or whatever other point on the suspension you can get to that's under the spring. The only thing you care about is that the weight of the vehicle is sitting on the suspension.

Against the rotor?
Definitely not. Against a control arm or whatever is underneath the spring or shock. Your objective is to load up that corner of the suspension like it was sitting on the ground. Then you can proceed with tightening the bolts and not having preload on them.

A bit of a Potato pic, but looks good at that height. I'm considering these springs.

I did a quick fix on the pic:

Update. I'm dumb. The front left spring wasn't seated correctly in the strut tower. It was binding. Endlinks were fine. Redid that corner and now it's perfect.

I've been pushing more this week and man it does feel much more planted. The ride is noticeably worse but it comes with the territory.

I recommend these if you want an improvement over a stock lobo and are OK with a harder ride.

Thanks. Just got side marker black out vinyl. The orange is bothering me. I'll be throwing them on tomorrow.

I'm also looking for different wheels. Thinking bronze 😈
I own bronze wheels and would absolutely run them on a black Maverick 💪

Really like these. Amazon said they wouldn't fit, but they do. Just slight poke in front.
