Has anyone ever regretted getting a XL?

I love this truck! Not sorry one bit it is an XL. The interior color is now on option for XLT and greater for the black appearance package. I am even showing off it is an XL (see rear fender )

I love that rear fender decal. I love my XL. Where do you get XL decal at?

Even if the truck (hybrid-XL) “hauls air” and, was purchased in 2022 @$20k, it still cost lower than a hybrid car. It works and plays for ideal versatility. I did add the co-pilot option and floor mats at time of purchase. No regrets.

All good. I get touchy about my "heirs" sometimes. My granddaughter though is innocent of the drama. I learned to drive in a 63 Fairlane with drums brakes, manual steering and old license plates patching the holes in the floorboards and body. My room growing up had NO heat or AC, it was 1 of the 4 gables of the house, not a true attic. I could stand up only in the center of the room and there was 1 light bulb in the entire "attic" space. So life of luxury was not my style. When I went shopping for a Maverick I told myself an XLT was as nice as I needed but changed my mind when I saw the Lariat. Me and my lady deserve to ride comfortable and have satellite radio .

Even the XL now comes standard with satellite radio. I don't use it though. I prefer Spotify. My play lists.

I never use cruise. I flow with traffic.

If you've never driven from LA to Chicago, there are many times where there is no traffic to flow with. Same as my recent trip out to Mt Rushmore, lots of windshield time in western MN and across S Dokata.

How many states did

How many states did you traverse weekly for work? The last 3.5 years I worked I was at the same place and it was 60 miles each way, out in the middle of nowhere, many times I was glad I could set the cruise and avoid the speedtraps on the way..

Well I owned a towing company from 92-2014, and I was the only driver. My last maverick was in 13 states in the year that I had it. I've had many hot rods over those decades. Love road trips. Haven't driven professionally since 2014.

If you don't like cruise control fine. I don;t care what you drive, how you drive, or what you THINK everyone else should drive. Yippy you don't use cruise. I DO!

Never said I don't like cruise, just that I rarely use it. Most of my vehicles have it. Just rarely ever used. I wouldn't use autopilot in a Tesla either. I prefer to drive.

I can say that I've noticed more than a few times when I've had my hands full, I will I had push-button start. I don't $2K+ wish I had it, but it would be nice. And for the second time now, I've bought nice OEM alloy rims with fresh tires for less than I ended up selling my steelies + tires.

My 23 didn't either, but they all do now. Your 22 didn't come with cruise either. That was standard on all in 23.
