My 2024 Ecoboost runs the same on regular and premium. I see a small average mpg gain, say 2 or 3 % with premium and that’s a maybe.
No noticeable power difference but I don’t drive it in the upper third of the power band, ever.
I never go over 5,000 rpm.
Except for the time I forgot I had it in low. I hit 5,400 before I noticed it.
:’P
Any way, for chits and giggles I put on a fuel load of what I like to call
Real Gasoline.
NON Ethanol 93 octane.
My Mav is just bit different.
I’m not going to say how. I’m looking for other peoples input, thoughts, opinions and results.
I paid $3.54 a gallon.
My regular is running $2.64
And my Ethanol premium is $3.39 a gallon.
Penny for your thoughts ?
