FWIW my camper doesn't sway at highway speeds even with the sway control bar fully open. I have it mainly for better stability against sidewinds or when passing / being passed by semis
I have a WDH but didn't want to open that can of worms here ... but as it says in the image above, you don't need one to use the sway control kit :

This is a sure sign that there isn't enough weight on the front of the trailer
I've never had sway with mine ... full disclosure I also have a curt sway a way
EDIT - it's called the Curt sway control kit
If that trailer is close to 4000 lbs it should have around 400 lbs tongue weight, and in my experience trailers with that much tongue weight don't usually clunk and bang around
For light trailers, the hitch tightener suggested in post #2 is perfect
Wow that's quite the trip, must have been awesome!
What's it like being in Quebec with the language difference?
PS MPG really depends on the slope along your route; sometimes it's going slightly uphill all the way but you can't really tell. So your fuel economy is really bad one way and...
That's pretty rich ... you should've walked. Lots of dealers are doing this now, charging double the LIST price of any part under $25 or $30 and adding 30-50% to all other parts prices. I guess their owners aren't getting rich enough from the regular mark-up, they want to make 200% profit on...
I also like them. They're quiet, comfortable, OK in rain and seem to be good for fuel economy. I also like that Goodyear made custom molds for the 19" Maverick size, with bigger lugs on the sidewall that makes them look almost like an A/T tire.
PS if you like them, watch FB marketplace for...
Dunno if I'm imagining this but since the last (trailer module) OTA update, it seems like the ICE is running a lot more than usual.
Normally in summer I can drive out of my neighborhood without the engine starting, but the past few days I'm not even making it one block before it starts 🤔 and...
Camber bolts cost peanuts, you have to remove those bolts anyhow in order to install the springs, and they'll allow you to set your camber perfectly. I just don't see a good reason NOT to install them
