That is my thoughts... if I get scheduled next week depending on when it's scheduled I will expect it before the end of March. If I don't then I will need to make sure I do something with my existing car so it will pass inspection at the end of March.
I’m running into the same problem. My wife is looking for a car now also because she has 150k on the Pilot. Having a hell of a time finding something. Actually she’s considering getting into a short lease so she can order a car to show up around the end of the leasing period.

I really wonder if a number of those complaining that their June/July orders have not been scheduled yet really have a valid order into Ford especially if no email has ever been received from Ford.

Valid orders submitted through the ROVP system seem to get the "Your Order has been Confirmed" within hours of being ROVP validated. Mine happened within 2 hours of ordering.

Tim has this video in what needs to happen at the dealership for an order to be considered valid by Ford and then be considered for scheduling.

I know mine is a valid order because as soon as this video came out I verified with my salesman that my was placed in the ROVP system. Plus every time I've called Ford they have verified my order, so I'm confident I have a good order.

I could not disagree more.
The only way to do that is to willfully misinterpret the marketing surrounding the car.

Is the base engine the hybrid? According to Ford? Yes. So have they delivered base engine vehicles? No. So they lied. In fact because they've delievered so many ecoboosts engines it amplifies the lie. The Hybrid has been constrained at 25-40% builds for the entirety of production. It was never intended to be the base vehicle. It is a lie to market it as such.

Can you point to any specifics? I haven't been able to find anything that doesn't say something like:

  • Scheduled for fall
  • Available in fall
  • Reserve now and get an order in later
It sounds more like people got really excited by marketing (the intended goal) and that marketing was as accurate as it could be at the time. Mavericks have been in fact sold to customers by fall so I'm really struggling to understand what was the big scam here.

Being upset does not mean that someone lied cheated and stole from you, it means that your expectations were not aligned to reality. Is that Ford's fault? probably not, is that your dealer's fault? very likely.

Does that mean if they we haven’t received an email by now we’re definitely into January? Just curious. Need a car bad but if I have to wait anyway might make a change or seriously consider waiting for the Lightning.
I received a build date, order number, and VIN nearly 3 weeks ago for a "scheduled" January 2022 build.

Seems like the scheduling of the last 2 weeks of a given month is reserved for clean-up or no scheduling at all. So I sure hope I get scheduled one of these next two Thursdays. Otherwise, it's back to the bottle for me until scheduling for February builds start in December. Let me preemptively cheers to those of us who are about to be disappointed.....again. *salud*

Ordered a basic Hybrid XLT in mid Oct. Got a order received email form Ford on Oct. 21st. Around Nov. 1st. I called the dealer to change my order to a 2.0. Dealer said I most likely will not get another received order email from Ford after that change. Also dropped the spray in liner at that time. Dealer said not to get my hopes up for a before March Scheduled for production message from Ford. I am in hopes that switch from Hybrid to Ecoboost. Did not set my build date back. But maybe the switch will shorten my wait compared to waiting for the Hybrid.

Being new to this group. I'm not all familiar with how ordering works. I placed my order on 10/08. What does this mean for me?
Don't expect yours till some time mid next year, Considering us who ordered in June, July, or August are still waiting for ours.

I’m sorry you feel like you have been mislead and are angry, but that hasn’t been my (or others here) experience.
By stating that 21st deadline for a ceremonial fall delivery you've outed yourself as acknowledging that Ford mislead customers. No one making a faithful argument would hardline the cutoff when customers at large would not be served.

Might be a stupid question, but have any hybrid builds been scheduled yet? I feel like I've seen a few hybrid buyers on here say they've been scheduled.
I'm scheduled for 11/22

Ford sends scheduling emails on Thursday. If they schedule your truck for production you will get an email.
Well, being that I ordered mine 10/14 I'm in the same line as you. I won't hold my breath on a Thursday email this week, :cautious:

I’m running into the same problem. My wife is looking for a car now also because she has 150k on the Pilot. Having a hell of a time finding something. Actually she’s considering getting into a short lease so she can order a car to show up around the end of the leasing period.
I would think the Pilot could go on for another 100k miles easy as long as it's maintained.
