Still looking for leads on where any of these Salvage Mavericks end up. So far the auction sites dont show the Sold information after bidding. If anyone has a lead on a Hybrid before MY 23' i'd appreciate it.
Until then the slow search continues while the truck sits.
It rubbed through in a section around the knuckle area. The wheel definetly rubbed it at some point probably when I had wheel spacers on if i had to guess.
Looking for any leads on Mavericks in Junkyards, Auto Recyclers etc please.
My ABS sensor on my driver's front wheel has rubbed through when the truck was lowered on coilovers and the part is not on a connector/pigtail but rather a length of wire tied into the main harness. 5900$ harness FYI...
Its good info but you are right, all the power is in the dealership. That much I gathered from a Jeep forum during my extensive googling. The person in that situation (very similar - Mods and an apparent Transmission issue) recommended trying all sources at the dealership before doing anything...
Update:
The dealer still has the truck. They replaced the Transmission as goodwill and said I would still have to pay for the tear down that was done during diag. Well, last week they finally called and said the Transmission was "in" but now they were having an issue with communication to the...
No overreaction here, they couldn't figure out the issue after the initial test and completing open recalls, so that lead to the teardown. I was fine with the teardown feeling confident it would be something stupid and warrantable. When they told me it was the transmission I was very surprised...
This has not deterred me from modifying my vehicles at all. Its a right I will gladly exercise. If i have any issues again all of it will come off and the stock stuff will be back on in 90 minutes before I send it to the dealership again. Thats the part I love, it reminds me of my Honda's how...
Their verbiage to me was that because there are visible modifications if the cause was found to be warrantable then the fee would be covered, and if not then I would be responsible for the fee for it being due to mods.
Update: I won.
This was my route the entire process with my dealership...
Thanks thats where im at with it, I understand that much of things as well and I do feel like they would want to take care of it under warranty if I had not had the mods on when I dropped it off. I wish I would've waited a few days but there was nothing that indicated my trans was done. The...
Yeah, they will have to prove the mods caused the failure but if thats the case then what amount of play was there that was so small that it wasnt noticable in a shakedown/inspection, abut able to cause internal gear wear/failure. I find it unlikely and with the little bit of markings on the...
They exaggerated as much as they could in the opening paragraph. One of the front struts had the adjusting ring seized up (how many miles my suspension has seen) and I raised the truck up a little bit but the ring you loosen to adjust and turn the suspension lower or high was still in its...
I wil start with whats done to my Maverick (22 Hybrid 41k miles). Sept. 2023 I installed Silvers Coilovers with Swift springs onto My Hybrid Maverick. Drove the vehicle to Tail of the dragon and all was fine drove back home to Maryland with no issues. Shortly after added 2" spacers. I also have...
