Nice and easy, sweet! Hopefully you have as much luck with the actual brake light bulbs. With my Ram, I could replace the bed lighting and reverse lights with LED without any problem, I tried three kinds of brake light LEDs that were supposed to be error free and everything but all caused brake out warnings with hyperflash.

PS: The empire did nothing wrong.

Just my opinion (which is worth nothing :) )
but I think the LED bulbs are too bright, kind of overwhelm
the brake lights? Don't get me wrong, I normally prefer LED
over incandescent bulbs. I replaced my rear brake/turn signal
bulbs on my 67 Shelby with LED bulbs and it is such a great improvement.
Maybe have to see this in person
but thanks for the video, well done.

A few people complained that the reverse lights didnt light the ground enough in certain situations, making the backup camera harder to see at night. This will help that out.

Who cares about the brake lights though when you are reversing? If people see your reverse lights, they still get the message.
That and in another thread the guy said the OEM bulbs didn't light the surroundings up enough for the back-up camera to see. So they illuminate the area better as well as to be seen.

I really need to see the lights acting as turn signals to come to any conclusion. The brightness seems about the same, but my peeve with incandescents is that they don’t turn on and off quick enough for my liking when acting as turn signals. IMO all vehicles should have MANDATED amber signals or else the manufacturer gets hit with a $1B fine for each vehicle produced without amber signals. Or at least implement sequential turn signals, or use a separate bulb from the brakes.

That has been the first mod I've made, changing reverse lights to LEDs, on my last 6 vehicles. I like to see when I'm in reverse. Light em up boys!!!

Wow I LOVE this. I cannot see out of the back of my current car at night, because the reverse lights are to dim and the stupid reverse camera screen glares off my windows. I will be doing this first thing when I get my maverick in a couple of years 🙄
