Looks like a Maverick just slightly bigger.

Man that looks sharp! Love the rugged, blocky styling with the traditional Raptor grille. I also like the black interior with red accents. That's a huge screen too for a mid-size pickup! I have to say Ford has been on a roll with all their vehicles lately! They're really pushing out some sweet product as of late! The Bronco, Bronco Sport, Maverick, Mustang Mach-E, E-Transit, F-150 Lightning & Raptor, upcoming all-new Mustang Coupe and now an all-new Ranger. All well perceived and have a ton of demand going for them. This one will be no exception. Keep it up Ford!

Thats because they are taking the design philosophy from the maverick front end and putting into the design of the ranger. It may even end up in a future F150 style front end.
I agree it's a bit over done much like the after market Maverick item. Purely personal preference of course. Overall a big upgrade over the older Ranger.
That said, I especially like how they did the fog lights and the black rear cam housing/surround. A year from now I'll be pricing the black cam surround for my Tremor.
I like it more than I thought I would, but we'll see how the more base versions look. You can make pretty much any truck look awesome for $65,000, but let's see what the Ranger looks like at $35k.
