I saw 5, not including mine, while driving to/from Shepherdstown, WV back to Leesburg last weekend The Mav really does fit the bill perfectly for this area so I'm not at all surprised to see so many others day in and day out. I saw 4 driving around town outfitted with a bed topper, so it looks...
Bronco Raptor starts at $75k, F150 Raptor starts at $76. The Ranger will be the newest Raptor variant so that will also have any factory price increases tagged to it. Honestly, $65 might be a bargain, i can totally see it being $70k before any dealer mark-up.
I like it more than I thought I would, but we'll see how the more base versions look. You can make pretty much any truck look awesome for $65,000, but let's see what the Ranger looks like at $35k.
I love seeing these numbers. They sell a very healthy number of Escapes and Explorers, pretty neat to see. But man how in the world does Lincoln justify it's existence?
That does make sense - thank you! I have a miter saw that I feel should work well for cutting, but the drilling is what concerned me for the same reasons you listed. I'll have to try and track down a shop that could do that work for me. And good tip on using the pre-drilled portion as a jig for...
Hi,
I'm ordering my Elevate Rack System now, and the only thing that made me pause was not wanting them to sit too high above the roof. I love the new height settings you created and want to do the exact same. Could you give a brief walk-thru of how you did it? I'm trying to understand the...
As much as there is to (very rightly) criticize Ford for, I'm at least a bit humbled to see that besides F-series trucks, they're churning out the Mav every bit as every other vehicle in their stable. I have no illusions they'll ever give the Maverick F-150 resources, but it's right up there...
Having worked in catalog design for many years, I'll guarantee there would've had to have been a shiny blue oval dead center of the cover for Ford to have sponsored. No money was transferred on this one, just total coincidence based on what props/models/vehicle was available that day for the...
That's an interesting way for other companies to handle it. Instead of scrambling for loads of different parts to build exactly what every individual wants, build only what you can get parts for and hope it aligns with what an individual is willing to buy.
Genuine question and not trying to be melodramatic - are other models and manufacturers having the same level of disruptions and changes as the Maverick? I know the Bronco has been quite messy, but are orders for F-150s, Tacomas, Camrys, Ridgelines, etc, featuring the same amount of rollovers...
You make a great point and I'm really interested in how this shakes out in the next 3-5 years. Ford's been very open about wanting the Maverick to bring in non-truck owners to their offerings, and I really wonder how many more people will love their Maverick for a handful of years then start...
