Did mine at 6k miles as a break in. Found a little bit of wear on drain plug. Will be doing tranny and rear end at 8k miles just to be safe. Always better to be early than late.
Damn. What a nightmare of a story! I consider myself fortunate I have an honest local dealer in North GA which sold me my Maverick at sticker and not a single dollar over with no absolutely no drama. I've heard these stories multiple times. I would be SO FURIOUS!
I've had my Maverick for 10 months and love it. Muslogy mud flaps and center console dividers are great. Don't like the factory OEM rubber floor mats. Wish I would have gone aftermarket.

Since you're almost out of the factory warranty at 35k miles do you recommend or plan on getting an extended warranty?
I've got a '23 XLT fx4 with tow and lux packages. Only at 2500 miles but haven't decided on the extended warranty. I also hate the location of the shift knob. Great write up...
