As expected. Enjoy the week off.

I suspect they are already full out to mid-April so it might be a couple weeks before we get more on the schedule

At this point - I am kind of enjoying the long scenic route to Maverick ownership.

So long as it doesn't end in a MY24 reorder.
I hoped to have it before June, but I've already started working contingencies.

How many EB have actually be scheduled/built at this point? It seems as if the timeline of builds has been pushed out from what was originally expected ( at least for EcoBoosts). It would seem they still have many, many 23s to schedule (including mine) .

Can't wait to wait 10 months for a simple ICE engine. SOOO exciting!

Is anyone keeping track of these weeks? There has been maybe 2 actual scheduling weeks since December

We should have seen around 22,000 retail EBs scheduled through April 1. What we have seen is they actually only scheduled around 10,000 retail EBs. So, instead of almost being done with scheduling EBs, they are only 1/3 the way through EB retail orders.

Hybrid orders are on pace with their expected build rate. Ford at least seems to be dedicating all hybrid stock to retail orders as opposed to eating up the EB stock with fleet orders.

It is really disappointing that they have done so many fleet orders when you could do them later on.
The only thing I can figure is there had to be trim constraints we weren't told about. The Lariats and XLTs have bells and whistles and I wonder if Ford was just having trouble getting the stock in. If that's the case, then that would explain why Ford went "retail only" two weeks ago. Their parts came in and could actually dedicate stock to retail orders rather than bare-bones fleet.

Basically, the fleet vehicles was so Ford was producing something rather than just twiddling their thumbs waiting on parts. But that may be a generous point of view.

Wish someone could explain. 2.8 billion to manufacture EV. That’s coming from tax payers. Some are paying 10000 over cost if you can find one. Manufacturers must be making big profits and little on promises?

Ford can't afford to lose fleet orders; they'd rather disappoint a consumer or two. They care less if they lose a few of us, but a few fleet orders would have a greater negative impact to their bottom line. That's my two cents trying to find logic in Ford's actions.

I think you right. Ford needs number for government handouts. Companies need to show government what they are doing to go green for handouts. It’s all about the bottom dollar. We pay taxes to fund it all.

I've long blown past any of my deadlines. If I have it by mid-July the wife told me we can take it to the beach (she didn't let me take the Bronco before I sold it) so I guess that is my next soft deadline.

I guess I'm taking the attitude of I'll get there when I get there and half the fun is the journey...

The Maverick fits what I need perfectly. But at the end of the day, it's just product. Other companies make other products.

Correct. Not losing sleep - I do enjoy MTC and the "chase" of the Mav if you will and I really hope I get to enjoy it.

It's an exciting time to purchase any new vehicles - the Maverick might be the least exciting one (and it's awesomely exciting).

Oh, when I saw my dealership had a used Lightning Lariat this past weekend, my wife and I had to talk each other down. That price though...
