Interesting the separate date columns for gas and hybrid. Looks like they may not open and close order banks on the same days like they did in 23.

Does that mean you can't order a new hybrid on the 17th unless it is a fleet order?

that notice is a little confusing. I take it as you can order an Eco Boost on the 17, but you have to wait till the 24th to order a Hybrid???? Can anyone verify that for us please???

I could see them opening Eco on the 17th and Hybrids on the 24th if they plan on closing both by the 31st.

Almost sounds like they want to give Dealers plenty of time to get the Hybrid rollovers in before the new Hybrid orders come screaming thru a week later. And that they're actually planning to build all the EB's ordered (where possible as the XL's are still over the max).

But that would be crazy talk...

That chart where they separate out gas from hybrid is I think only meant for "fleet ordering eyes". That probably explains why they have separate dates. Notice they also differentiate federal and state and local fleet orders versus commercial fleet orders.

I would not read into those dates since they almost certainly won't apply to retail/custom ordering. Right? Maybe I am wrong.

Maybe they already have enough hybrids carrying over from '23 that they aren't going to take any new hybrid orders...

There will probably be close to 10,000 unscheduled 2023 Hybrid orders so they will be taking 2024 Hybrid orders for sure.

If they have separate order dates for retail eco and hybrid that would cause a lot of confusion since 95% of people ordering will only hear banks open 7-17 and get in quick because they will close quick.

@fordvideoguy - do you know what it means?

More confusion from Ford! Please be more clear and concise! Many of us really want to know if we will get a 2023, before deciding if we want a 2024.

I think what he meant was with approx. 29k remaining orders for hybrid between what they can get done before the end of MY23 and the rest having to roll to MY24 they may hold taking more orders until they can get closer to "caught up" on hybrid orders. I'm just spitballing though.

Can someone explain what the cleanup stuff means? I received the email from Ford with an 8/28 scheduled production date but when I login to the site I still get this. I do have VIN number in there though, so maybe a good sign?

I'm wondering if I should order a 2024 rollover just in case, or if that would screw me over.

2023 XLT Hybrid, only options were spare tire and tow hitch.
