I'M wondering if I should add the stand alone hitch back to my unscheduled Hybrid order?
Not sure what they mean by "improved Trailer Tow Hitch volume".

Improved volume would mean higher number of them.

I took 14&16 months but I got my hybrids XLT LUX & XLT +hitch+inverter. Never did change either order. Last Sept I ordered EB Lariat Tremor and have not heard squat yet. Current Fear is it will among last built by the new "keystone cop" shift.! I froze when MSRP crossed 40k and did not add sun roof or anything else. A hitch has so many attributes I have a hard time believing Ford doesn't make it standard, but there are many that will never use it and defiantly don't like it's look. Good luck on yours,
Update now have vin# and scheduled for 7/31/23 production.

Look like Ford is getting to the end of MY23 schedule and pushing hard to get all done before open the orders for MY24 in July

Wonder how screwed I’d be if I tried adding my hitch back/if it’s possible since I’m already scheduled?

I'd go for getting it after you take home .
