XLT Climate Control Display Missing

I was expecting a small LCD temp read out on my XLT climate control dial. What I got today (just picked it up from the dealer - ordered november) doesn't look like what I expected.

Was this a known change?

Ah - That's pretty recent. I missed it. Thanks for the info.

I haven't read through those posts yet, but I'm assuming a Lariat dial might be able to be swapped in.

No temp readouts on ANY dials anymore due to chip shortage

I did see a post just recently that said they are basically plug and play, but you may want to ask in those threads I’ll see if I can find the link and report back.

When did the change happen? Mine was built in august, I have not gotten it yet. Held up at the dealer for trailer brake recall.

Unsure of when the change actually happened, but yours probably won't have the LCD screen either. Mine was also built in August, doesn't have it. I'm also being held at the dealer due to the brake recall.
