You can have both enabled. This is a sign recognition mode for wrong way signs. It doesn't interfere with pre collision assist working.
But how can both be activated?

When I activate by Forscan, I got a pre collission error on dash and also a notification about a problem with the front cam, need service....

When deactivating it again, the problem is gone...

As an aside it may also be possible to get the evasive steering assist feature working. Even though Ford only officially implements it using both the front facing camera and radar sensor used for ACC, Bosch who builds it says it also works with just a front facing camera installed.

The option can be enabled in the 4 inch cluster under pre-collision assist options. Just a matter of determining if there is an IPMA setting that activates it only using the front facing camera. The power steering and if applicable ABS module settings should be the same as on a Lariat with the lux package that has ACC.
THIS... Can anyone tell us how to make this happen?

Fixed by setting TSR Mode to Fusion instead of cam only

I said selectable, whether it triggers or not I don't know. I've never actually tested it by driving down a one way street the wrong way. Usually the rule of thumb with these instrument clusters when you turn on a hidden setting, if you can press a button like on the steering wheel and it will interact with the selection box it should work. That means the modules it also depends on are also correctly set when it does.

Keep in mind if you are in Europe there are other settings related to the country if you are using MPH or KMPH and such that will need to be set accordingly. These settings assume USA, MPH, left hand driver side, etc.

Tentatively upon further testing I am going to say this does not work without more investigation as to why. There is also an IPMA module setting that needs to be enabled for the camera to process wrong way signs and so far every value either disables it or creates incompatible and incomplete configuration DTC error codes.

Note I haven't tested this yet to see if it actually works but I can enable and select it in the vehicle driver assistance options.

This mod so far is confirmed selectable using a 4 inch cluster on 2.0L ecosport. engine. FWD / AWD shouldn't matter and neither should trim level as long as the cluster is the 4 inch version.

First we need to enable this in the IPMA. It may also require TSR to be enabled but I am not disabling mine to test. The IPMA setting may also be different for vehicles with GPS NAV systems installed.

IPMA
706-01-02
xxxx-*xxx-xxx
* = 6
This will enable it without errors
* = 9
This enables it also but knocks out the pre- collision assist. This maybe correct for vehicles with GPS Nav systems installed.

Next we need to enable it in the cluster
IPC
720-09-02
x*xx-xxxx-xxxx
* = 0
off
* = 8
on

That is it and you should see it under the vehicle assistance settings and the mode should also be selectable using the steering wheel switch.

Hi, I have TSR enabled, and as you said it Knocks out the Pre-Collision assist (I used another tutorial). but I read that if I put a 6 instead of a 9 it will not knock out the pre - collison. is that correct?-

XLT 2023 (4 inch IPC)

Best Regards
