I would have liked an extended cab version, just with no seats in the back, just enough room to put 'stuff' like grocery bags, & then maybe it would have had a 5.5' or 6' box too.Nope. Maybe, maybe an extended cab version if it was all I could get but not that. Gotta have some room for the groceries. LOL.
in Ford's terminology, the smaller extended cab is called a Super Cab and has 1/2 size rear doors that open backwards. That's what my F-150 has and seems the most useful without adding too much length overall. When Crew Cabs came out, they were aimed at work crews traveling together needing the extra seating and leg room. Then families that didn't want a mini van or Suburban size hauler discovered them and made them mainstream as cabin amenities got more car like and comfortable.I would have liked an extended cab version, just with no seats in the back, just enough room to put 'stuff' like grocery bags, & then maybe it would have had a 5.5' or 6' box too.
Hells no. Part of what keeps it cheap is not trying to be all things to all people.
This poster just created a Maverick Ranchero and I love it!!!I would love a 2 door version. This is a rendering that I did, borrowing a page out of the Focus ZX3 vs ZX5 handbook, and extending the front door length, so you still have room behind the seats, as well as a longer bed length.
