Wont drive stright

Hi All Ive got a 2026 lariat Hibrid 3k miles when I took possession the truck would not trac stright no center either pulls right or left when lane centering engauged goes over lane markers and wips back like ping pong .Took it to Ford they were sciptical took a Tech on a test drive and it did what I said they have aligned truck and had to move the sub frame to do it ,They have replaced both frt axles still doing same thing does any one have experience with similar problem and what cured it ?

Good thing you are under warranty.
I'm wondering if the tires could be a contributing factor, but in any case, the dealer gets three tries (in most states) to fix the issue.

You may want to look into the rules in your state regarding the lemon law, in case you need to go that route.

Hopefully after alignment (that's rather serious to have moved the subframe to accomplish) they did the centerpoint calibration for the steering wheel & system.
So the system knows what straight is and applies same amount of resistance to movement either direction.
That could effect the lane centering too.

But you need to make sure you are clearly separating issues.

With all auto-driving assists off - does it track straight now on level road with no wind?

That's one thing.

Then, with your lane centering enabled on roads with good clear lane markings - does it do the same bouncing back & forth?

That's another thing.

No it does not trac stright at any time lane featurs off

Featurs off still same problem flat road no wind I belive they are related as features make it worse undrivable its like the computer doesnt see zero input

Just to confirm you saw my comment on what they needed to do after alignment.

Your work order should state all that was done. Read it carefully looking for that.

These may be the terms they use, or similar.

Just to confirm you saw my comment on what they needed to do after alignment.

Your work order should state all that was done. Read it carefully looking for that.

These may be the terms they use, or similar.

It sure sounds like the truck had an....incident before delivery. A normal alignment shouldnt require subframe adjustment.....

I'd take it to a 3rd party shop, get their opinions on the alignment, and have them inspect it to see if they find anything else wrong, so if the dealer tries to BS you, you are armed with a second opinion.

EDIT: also, you have a hybrid with 3k miles...did you buy it used? or new?

Bought it with 22mi on it just drove it for a while before I brought tuck back to dealer

I don't have lane assistance on my truck, so when I wiggle going down the road I just assume it's due to the old man driving the truck. A few years ago my son had experience with the Texas lemmon law, he had a new pickup that wasn't quite ready for the new emissions standards and it would carbon up and run, barley. He had it back to dealer 17 times, and each time it went back they wrote it up as a different problem. The lemmon law never kicked in. Yep, it happens.

If you like your broken Mav, you'll probably love one that tracks straight!

If the dealership had to adjust the subframe to get a good alignment on a brand new truck, I'm deeply concerned about the structural quality. It seems like either they made a major error in the factory or there was an incident during delivery that got covered up. My goal would be to force a buy-back and use that money to get a new Maverick that tracks straight "out of the box".
