I thought the noise was coming from the door/window area. Never thought it was the windshield. How much more expensive is a Lariat windshield and is it cheaper to get it from a windshield replacement company.
I have a 23 XLT and noticed the same problem. I believe it's due to not having any insulation between the wheel well and door. You can look and see for yourself. I'm trying to find a solution.

I wouldn't get Safelite. Their glass is typically slightly thinner than OEM.
You are right. However, you can specifically request an OEM replacement through them.

I own a '24 Maverick Hybrid purchased October 2024. I hear a lot of wind noise in the cab while driving on the highway regardless of speed. I contacted the Ford dealership and asked if other Maverick owners had complained of the noise and I was told no. They asked me if it was noticeable. I wouldn't have called to ask if it wasn't. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you get it to stop?
I have a '24 XLT and yes, the first time I took a long highway trip in it I was shocked at how much wind noise there was. I think it comes from the A pillar area, likely because there's no rubber around the windshield (it seems all vehicles are built that way these days).
After a 500-mile-plus trip, I found the noise fatiguing.

The solution, at least to that particular issue, is to buy the two pieces of foam for $30ish per side. The thread with part numbers is linked in TrailMaster's post on page 1 of this thread.

One side is fairly easy to install, the other side really requires removal of the wheel well liner, which is in itself not that big of a deal.

I haven't done it on a Maverick as I have no reason/need, but on other vehicles removing the wheel liner was pretty difficult to access unless you removed the wheel. Then it was pretty easy, as long as you keep track of which fasteners go where, if they are not all the same.

Or, buy a couple of fat pool noodles for a lot cheaper and cut them to fit.

Yeah, I would assume you'd want the wheel out of the way so you can work, so maybe not really an extra step.

I have the foam parts myself but haven't installed them yet, only because I have at least 1 or 2 unrelated things to do that require front bumper removal, and I am hoping to just do that once.

I have a 2022 Lariat. Same thing with mine. Lots of Hwy noise. Otherwise love my Mav!

If nothing else, ask your dealer if you can take another '24 of the same trim level you have for a quick drive to compare and see if the sound level is about the same or not. No Maverick is going to be whisper quiet, but at least with my Lariat, it's reasonably quiet for a truck, and I'd have no problems going on a long road trip. I'd say the noise level is probably comparable to our Subaru Forester.
I found my 2019 Subaru Forester Sport to be quite noisy! It was the only vehicle I had that I had to keep raising the radio level at different speeds. The 2019 was the 1st year of that restyle and I heard that later model years had increased insulation.

Ours is a '21 Limited, and it's quite tolerable over long drives. So maybe in the couple of years difference, along with a different trim level that Subaru has quieted the cabin.

I have a 2024 XLT Hybrid, and it is very quiet at highway speeds. It has the Conti tires ,that are very quiet.

I noticed wind noise on the driver's side at highway speeds sometimes. I thought it was the side windows, but I can’t tell exactly where. Maybe I'll get pipe insulation and use as a stethoscope to pin point it. Then stuff the crack with it when I'm done.

That's killing 2 stones with one bird!

I have poor hearing and none on my right side. I never noticed any windnoise. When vacuuming the rear floor on the right side for the first time, I could see daylight at the bottom of the fully closed front passenger door. Upon inspection, I found the weatherstriping to be slightly pinched under threshold moulding. Once corrected, no more light. Of course I could not detect any sound difference with my hearing. I did check the rest of the doors and found no problems. I imagine this would cause quite a bit of wind noise.
Edit: I did previously post about this more concerned about possible water intrusion on Feb 18, 24.
