Wind Noise

Here's a quick fix for some of the wind noise on your Maverick. On the inside of the Mirrors there is a little v shaped channel that dead ends against the mirror cap. This dead end is flat and with the v channel it has a figuration like a whistle and does give off a low wind like pitch sound. I just put a piece of black duct tape over it on both mirrors and most of my wind noise is gone. Simple fix.

But that noise is to scare wildlife off the road.

Yes it's pretty effective I haven't seen any lately.

i had a Honda Accord that needed the ol' tape whistle-fix on the mirror.
