I have heard a loud whistling sounds when driving around 80mph. I notice there is some weather stripping that came undone near the back passenger side of the cab. I think that is where my noise is coming from. I rarely drive on the hwy so I haven't glued it down yet but that might be something to check out.

Has anyone tried the WeatherTech side window deflectors ? They look like what I have on my RAM where they extend down the length of the front of the window. Just curious if that would resolve the "window" noise. (in quotes since nobody really knows  )

I tried the same thing and taped it up too but no luck still, please let me know if we're able find a solution if you find one. I checked the seals as well and no luck as well
So I dropped it off yesterday at the dealer to diagnose and I thought they would gaslight me into saying it's normal. The SA just called me and let me know that they confirmed the noise and they're trying to pinpoint the source. They aren't convinced it's an issue with the seal (possibly the door) and they'll let me know tomorrow afternoon.

I'll report back on the findings.

Update from the SA: Another tech confirmed the wind noise. They think it's coming from either the headliner area or windshield. They're going to perform a water test tomorrow morning to see if they can find the leak with water intrusion and report back on Monday. Possible windshield reseal.

Thank you for the update, I hope that they are about to find the issue. Please keep me updated on what they find. Thank you

SA called and said the water test didn't yield any results. They asked if I was willing to let them take it to their body shop for a few more days for them to diagnose it as it didn't seem like it was a problem with the seals or windshield. I said sure so it's there now.

I'm shocked they're trying to hard to be honest, even if the result ends up being they can't find anything. Not sure what I'll do at that point as I'm not sure how much I can take of driving around with the level of cabin noise that happens at speed.

With the front doors open, look into the front fenders, the Lariat as well as *most* Hybrids should have a black molded (sort of foam) looking insulating panel in that gap. If you can see into the fender (you'll know), the insulation was left off during manufacturing, which will result in additional noise in the cabin.

I also installed a rubber strip on the front of the rear doors, which adds a rubber bulb (weatherstripping) to seal between the two doors. Other than a minor rattle/tap on heavy broken pavement, my Lariat is actually very quiet with the windows up, and I even have in-channel vent visors (EGR) installed.

Yup. Sometimes it'll be out of place or bent down into the engine bay too so they have to be secured. You can see where it's supposed to be secured against based on the intents intended to sit against the bolts. I've blocked the upper section too with additional foam but it did not change the wind noise.

Do you have a picture of this?

I installed this:

I ordered it from Amazon Vine to try it. Makes the doors sound like a vault when closing them, with a satisfying thump.

that's interesting. do you have pics of your truck with it installed? seems like that would be very visible on anything other than black trucks...

Barely visible, if at all:

Ford Maverick Wind noise while driving Current Side View of Maverick

They install on the indented gap, and it's the side profile which mates, and presses agasinst the inside edge of the front door. This a photo taken on Sunday, after I finished cleaning her up, but before applying the tire dressing. They've been installed for a couple months now.

Link to that weatherstripping is: Here

Yep, that's not at all what I feared looking at the little thumbnail pic he posted of the item.
