Used for a few months. Includes all accessories for installation except for the weather seal on the front of the bed as it is one time use. I have some leftover weather seal but not sure it's enough.

No change for me when I tried this. Maybe you have to use duct tape? I used foam tape as I didn't want to leave residue. I guess I can try duct tape at this point.
Unfortunately none of the solutions I've been reading on the Internet have worked for me.
1. Rubber D seals along the door. No change (maybe even worse).
2. Inserted 5/8th tubing into the door seals to add rigidity. Slight change but maybe confirmation bias.
3. Reseated door seal on body side...
Also in great shape, 5'8". I lost my ass when I lost 40lbs last year and dropped to 140lbs.
Seats are incredibly uncomfortable lol. Maybe I just got used to nice sport bucket seats from my last car.
I got the truck back on Friday and overall nothing changed. They had the truck 3 weeks and allegedly did a number of things but my SA didn't have the final parts list ready at the time of pickup.
They left the dashcam connected so upon review I can at least confirm:
1. They test drove it and...
Oops posted this in the wrong thread. Just got an update from my SA.
Still not done but she said the body shop replaced all the drivers side door seals and moldings, A pillar cover, and a few other bits. They're still waiting for some remaining parts to do something with the headliner but they...
Yup. Sometimes it'll be out of place or bent down into the engine bay too so they have to be secured. You can see where it's supposed to be secured against based on the intents intended to sit against the bolts. I've blocked the upper section too with additional foam but it did not change the...
SA called and said the water test didn't yield any results. They asked if I was willing to let them take it to their body shop for a few more days for them to diagnose it as it didn't seem like it was a problem with the seals or windshield. I said sure so it's there now.
I'm shocked they're...
Update from the SA: Another tech confirmed the wind noise. They think it's coming from either the headliner area or windshield. They're going to perform a water test tomorrow morning to see if they can find the leak with water intrusion and report back on Monday. Possible windshield reseal.
So I dropped it off yesterday at the dealer to diagnose and I thought they would gaslight me into saying it's normal. The SA just called me and let me know that they confirmed the noise and they're trying to pinpoint the source. They aren't convinced it's an issue with the seal (possibly the...
I actually did this and nothing changed. I taped up the entire drivers side door (I climbed in through the passenger side to drive lol) and windshield but the wind noise persisted. I also did the dollar bill test.
I know I'm not crazy as I had others sit in the drivers side and could hear the...
If Hyundai put a hybrid in it then I would have considered it.
The styling though is really off-putting and I actually like some of Kia/Hyundai styling (I came from an EV6) but the Santa Cruz just ain't it. The interior is way nicer with much better seats (vented, etc), sound deadening...
Well the front bumper is plastic but it just the PPF was hit. It's discolored because of the plastic tear but looking at it closely the paint is intact. Even if it wasn't, it probably saved it from most of the damage.
I paid to have it installed with Ceramic Pro Kavaca PPF. I've used a number...
Pretty much all modern paint on economy cars are easily damaged from rocks and road debris.
I did full front PPF. A few days after I installed it some lady couldn't miss her exit and crossed over where a ton of rocks were and kicked one up right into my front bumper. PPF saved it but damaged...
One thing to note is that with a sunroof, you lose the sunglasses holder. That was important enough for me for the sunroof to not be a deal breaker when I bought it. I know it sounds silly but my last car didn't have a sunglasses holder but my 4 previous Fords did.
It was annoying to stick it...
I wouldn't mind the interior being scratch prone so much if it wouldn't scratch me back. The plastic edges on some parts are just brutally cheap, especially around the door lock buttons and door handle. I'm shocked on how bad and rough feeling it is. I almost want to see if I can smooth it out...
