Because like myself there are plenty of owners that have a Love/Hate regarding the Maverick Hybrid and FORD...Waited 480 days for the truck, got price increase and lost options. I would love it a lot more if I could turn off the things that piss me off via the onboard screen and my 12v battery would not drain and put the vehicle in sleep mode every 3 days I don't drive it... And if there are folks out there that can handle the criticism... TOO BAD! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Ok...As a Hybrid owner I can't hate this comment. I was early on same. But I did get 43.9 mpgs today on my work travels.🤣
I am averaging about 44 MPG with my 2023 Hybrid. Based on actual "at the pump" calculations and not what is showing on my display. Have about 9,000 miles on the Maverick in a year's time. About 80% of my driving is in the city around 30-45 MPH and 20% on the highway doing between 50-75 MPH.

Seems like every post people make about Maverick s someone has so much negativity to post back. Why?
I agree.

It’s like anything you say gets a smart ass negative response.

I don’t get it. Opinions are a good thing, but I have almost decided not to respond to a post because of the negativity.

I don't think his point was about legitimate criticism of the product from owners of it. It was more the hate coming from people who don't own it

I concur. They're mad that they didn't choose the hybrid...😅
I own a great hybrid car and love it. I'll only drive my truck 3K-4K miles per year, and I chose the EB for several reasons, some of whack are as follows.
  1. Difference in annual fuel cost is negligible (to me)
  2. I want AWD
  3. I want a transmission with discrete gears
  4. I don't want brakes to grab when changing from regenerative breaking to brake pads
Based on 4 months of reading posts in this forum, I see more issues posted by hybrid owners than EB owners. I suspect many are first time hybrid owners who had higher expectations.

All you EcoBoost guys are high strung. Probably why. Maybe y'all should change to eco friendly mode😁
Well I love my Mav. It's an eco beast. After taco tried passing me up to see what the mav can do. Turbo kicked in taco got shredded. Vroom! Vroom! Need pipes and tune. Then pull up.

How do I find my trip results after the fact? I see them pop up on my screen for a sec.
I have screen set to "This Trip" and take picture with phone before taking out of drive or turning off truck. You also get an update as it changes during the trip.
Also good to see how mpg suc's in first few miles, etc

Somewhere there is a Chrysler PT Cruiser Forum that must be filled with misery.
I had a v-6 PINTO. Fortunately I purchased extended warranty which replaced trans TWICE due to apparently overheating. It was so tight under hood that anything dropped could take weeks to find the ground if at all!

I only drive 6,000 or so miles a year and I also want AWD with the independent rear suspension but I assume the EB has more issues down the road with things like carbon on the valves and from what I read out here transmission issues

Why are you running 87? Give it the proper fuel and it will he more powerful and should get a little better mileage.
