Turning Radius... Why is it so bad?

THE TRUTH

Some will think I'm fibbing but that is close to the wheelbase of the Panther platform Town Cars. (1979 to end of production) Heck a Crown Victoria only had a 114 in wheelbase over the same time-period.

FWD is usually a bigger radius than RWD because of the flexible couplings on the front wheels.

I compared to my Rav4 just to prep for when it came up.
Figures I'm a terrible judge of distance anyway - "looks good" - nope, need 5 extra feet.
What's funny is when someone is with me and joins in - "that should be easy" - nope.
