The EPA tests highway miles per gallon for ten miles at a an average speed of forty-eight. It simulates increases and decreases with a top speed of sixty. Window stickers disclose city and highway test results. High speed, air conditioning and cold temperature (20F) are also conducted .

The EPA puts an asterisk next to the engine start up sub category with a very important statement: A vehicle's engine doesn't reach maximum fuel efficiency until it's warm.

Then there’s the posters that gloat that they got their truck for a couple thousand and less and bash newer truck owners that they overpaid. Everyone has different financial situations.

Everyone knows that Cactus Grey is the superior color, but some folks don't want to admit it. I really enjoy our club meetings where we dish on the other colors. ;)
Especially since Area 51 is clearly the best color :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

This little truck is so much better than what I was driving several years ago.
Same here. I have been driving an XL equivalent Mazda B3000 for 25 years. Vinyl bench seat, no carpet, no power windows (or anything else).

To me, the Maverick Hybrid is a luxury vehicle. That gets over 40 MPG. I'm saving the planet baby!

Maybe it's because I can't tell cheap plastic from luxury plastic. I'm probably lucky that way.

There is an old marketing adage that a customer with a negative exprience will tell 10 people but those with a positive experience will tell 2 people. Of course nowadays with social media they can tell thousands of people.

You are lucky that way. I do notice those things. Unfortunately. I sat in a Maverick the other day for the first time and I do like the design but the plastics are a lot cheaper than my 2016 VW Golf. But what are you going to do?

I will cover my cheap plastic with a protective layer of dirt. Inside and outside.

Whatever works. Like I have a GMC work truck at my job and I notice how the panels were designed on the dashboard so that the seams don't really have to line up well. Like one panel lays over top the other. That's not even getting into the Fisher Price materials.....

Ok...As a Hybrid owner I can't hate this comment. I was early on same. But I did get 43.9 mpgs today on my work travels.🤣
I average 40 round trip daily 90 miles with an elevation change of 3500ft to 220ft and back up to the 3500. Just thought I'd add this if any eco guys were curious.

Seems like every post people make about Maverick s someone has so much negativity to post back. Why?
Depends how you look at the situation and your expectations. When my Maverick doesn't start and the dealer says it's all fixed and it doesn't start again several days later, I get upset.
I had to find the fix, tell the dealer and take the vehicle back for them to download the fix.
Maybe I'm unfair, or not used to incompetent people, too old??
Other than that, I'm happy with the truck, not gay, happy....
