Especially since Area 51 is clearly the best colorEveryone knows that Cactus Grey is the superior color, but some folks don't want to admit it. I really enjoy our club meetings where we dish on the other colors.![]()
Same here. I have been driving an XL equivalent Mazda B3000 for 25 years. Vinyl bench seat, no carpet, no power windows (or anything else).{Snip}
This little truck is so much better than what I was driving several years ago.
There is an old marketing adage that a customer with a negative exprience will tell 10 people but those with a positive experience will tell 2 people. Of course nowadays with social media they can tell thousands of people.
Anyway:

You are lucky that way. I do notice those things. Unfortunately. I sat in a Maverick the other day for the first time and I do like the design but the plastics are a lot cheaper than my 2016 VW Golf. But what are you going to do?Same here. I have been driving an XL equivalent Mazda B3000 for 25 years. Vinyl bench seat, no carpet, no power windows (or anything else).
To me, the Maverick Hybrid is a luxury vehicle. That gets over 40 MPG. I'm saving the planet baby!
Maybe it's because I can't tell cheap plastic from luxury plastic. I'm probably lucky that way.
I will cover my cheap plastic with a protective layer of dirt. Inside and outside.You are lucky that way. I do notice those things. Unfortunately. Whatever works. Like I have a GMC work truck at my job and I notice how the panels were designed on the dashboard so that the seams don't really have to line up well. Like one panel lays over top the other. That's not even getting into the Fisher Price materials.....I will cover my cheap plastic with a protective layer of dirt. Inside and outside.

That's just how I roll!
I average 40 round trip daily 90 miles with an elevation change of 3500ft to 220ft and back up to the 3500. Just thought I'd add this if any eco guys were curious.Ok...As a Hybrid owner I can't hate this comment. I was early on same. But I did get 43.9 mpgs today on my work travels.![]()
How do I find my trip results after the fact? I see them pop up on my screen for a sec.Dang another negative post.... I got 61.pg.![]()
Depends how you look at the situation and your expectations. When my Maverick doesn't start and the dealer says it's all fixed and it doesn't start again several days later, I get upset.Seems like every post people make about Maverick s someone has so much negativity to post back. Why?
