Thanks! Let’s hope so!

I wanted to report back that I never fixed the truck. Primarily because I can’t part with it for a whole month but also because I never notice the scratch unless I am looking for it.

Here is the before and after. The neighbor spent 15 minutes in it.

Did you buy stronger clips? Do the flairs not cause any paint damage?

That looks great! I will have to see if there is an expiration in using my insurance. It is tempting to fix it but I will start with the buff.

You are so right! It already looks much better after being rained on but I will check for missing paint.

The other vehicle looks worse but the deductible doesn’t apply to that one, property damage. It only applies to mine apparently (collision).

Good point. If I fix every dent I could end up paying 45k for a 34k truck.

Well, I drove a 1999 Dodge Ram for 23 years without hitting anything. I have had my Maverick for 15 months and just smooshed it into another vehicle while backing up. I was devastated for a minute but also relieved. It is a truck and I use it like a truck so I can’t keep it pristine forever...

I don’t know what it is but I have more chipped paint in my 24 maverick than I did on my 99 dodge ram that I drove for 22 years.

Oh it was a twist. I was about to defend it but they said the Maverick is an embarrassment to the other auto-makers who haven’t been able to create such a success.
