I'm driving a LOT longer and even before gas prices went up, I wanted a more efficient vehicle. Main reason, I could use a truck for various things I want to do and I don't really need a big one (or it's gas mileage).

Yes, fuel mileage was also a factor for me...and safety features like air bags😬

Because Government is going to phase out private ownership of individuals owning vehicles, and implement regulatory action like kill switches be put into all vehicles after 2024.

Pure EV's are chains around the neck to reduce your ability to travel.

It's like my outback, but looks like a truck and has a bed. I also like Ford ergonomics so it's nice to come back to something familiar.

I've always liked small trucks, and the price for a Ranger was a bit too much.

I needed a small truck that’s:

1. good on gas mileage. I saw the warning signs last year with FJB’s Executive Orders cutting off the pipeline, fracking, and drilling in the Gulf. We went from gas less than $2 a gallon and being oil independent to relying on OPEC. I bought a hybrid.

2. I needed a small truck lower to the ground than a mid-sized truck due to my age.

3. a small truck to make occasional trips to HD and Lowe’s to get wood with my 5’ x 8’ utility trailer, and also deliver raised bed garden boxes I make to my customers.

I have a Maverick XL that I’ve had since 27 January, and love it!!

I like small trucks for commuting, and my Hybrid order should give me the best gas mileage possible. It's cheap too, so long as the Dealer doesn't try any funny business when it arrives.....
