For me, I went for the Ridgeline and haven’t looked back. Everyone who knows me said I made the right choice.
I originally ordered a Maverick (hybrid, lariat) back in the fall of 2021. I wasn’t any closer to getting now as I was then. A Ridgeline came available, it was in my price range and...
Hybrid Lariat—Ordered Nov 2021; moved it over to a 2023 on order opening day in September 2022. Recently, finally gave up & bought a Ridgeline.
Dealership still shows an order even though I received a deposit refund. Got email yesterday saying still not being built. Unfortunately, I’m not...
Toyota has already said plans are in they are shooting for that price point so they can convert those waiting for a Maverick. They have the technology in place.
Exactly! My 22 order was a 10 from the start--it didn't move until time to wrap up the year and begin the close out process. My...
That scenario is basically what they did to those of us with 22 models that didn't get a VIN. And this time no price protection or anything should it not be built in 23. So yes, I agree. Glitch is they will cancel some of the orders that flipped from 22 to 23 as all but the ones with the 22 with...
The dealer I had said let me do my job and if it didn't come from Ford in writing it's not real/correct. You can check in with me, but unless Ford or I contact you it's still in progress and eventually you will get a truck. I understand that thinking, but Ford's communication system is awful...
I agree, yet it will take YEARS for that thought process to affect Ford. I still think it will, it just won't help us now.
What will speed that up is when other automakers come out with their alternatives. When Ford sees orders cancelled and the other automaker's sales skyrocket in the same...
I'm looking at two Ridgelines this afternoon. I ordered my 22 hybrid on 11/8 and my 23 on 9/15. My 22 is still in the system at a 99 (no VIN). I should have pulled the plug last spring. I'm being told my hybrid WILL COME this year especially since I changed the color and had a 22. My dealer also...
Looks like I'm defecting! When I placed the 2023 order I went with Hot Chili Pepper Red because it has the orangey cast to it. My salesman frequently implied that my color choice was the reason I didn't get my 2022 order. I think he's nuts, but . . . I did get to see 2 Cyber Oranges up close and...
My salesman wants me to stop being part of this group. He says it's on the internet and therefore isn't true even though I've explained who I'm listening to. So, I just don't tell him and only check in when a memo or something concrete has come out. (Side note: as a genealogist, I WISH I could...
Congrats on the Maverick and getting over 500 miles on the first tank of gas! The roads I drive will have me about the same situation, thought a LOT less overall miles, so I was glad to hear your impression. I also appreciate the comparisons to other vehicles, definitely helps. ENJOY your truck. :)
It could lock it in, but do you expect your vehicle to be built and arrive within 6 months. Realistically with Ford’s record, no. To me it would be a waste of a ding on a report.
I kept almost the same order for 23 as I did for the 22. Cyber Orange, Lariat, Lux package, drop-in bedliner, hard tonneau cover, and the copilot packages.
They say the Red for 23 has a coppery look to it. Albeit in the SUN, not shade. I'd LOVE a burnt orange one. I'm tempted to check into a wrap. Protects the paint, color I want--not sure how the paint would be if removed, but . . . it's a thought.
My dealer did the same. I did notice on the paper with order on it, they courteously provided me with finance ESTIMATES. It shows the rebate and an APR of 10.49% (NO JOKE!). Didn't matter if it was 36 mo or up to 54 mo (weird #). I didn't say word and I haven't talked with F&I office so they...
