I was intrigued by it, I was going to get the dodge Ram Rebel to replace my current dodge ram, I wanted to also look at the new frontier. I did a complete 180 since I figured I had nothing to loose ordering the Maverick. So far I'm glad I did time will tell.

Having never owned a pickup truck, I have been using an SUV and trailer to haul my “stuff” for many years. I even bought a new (great!) trailer mid 2021 before I knew of the Maverick. There are many times however, when I would like to pick up a few things and wouldn’t need the trailer if I only had the room. The Maverick looks to be a good fit. I don’t need a large cab as it is just the two of us + dog. I have only seen a Maverick once and the bed looked big enough for my needs. I liked the Lariat Lux features so I ordered. The waiting game sucks.

Upgrading my family vehicle. Wife and I purchased a home in the mountains. AWD/4WD is a good feature to have around here for the snow and light off-road areas. Plus my Mazda 3 is not a good family car, too small.

I drive 105 miles round trip daily to work. for the last few years I've driven my 01 Tacoma crew cab as my work truck. with gas prices nearly doubling in a years time I wanted something to drive to work that was more fuel efficient. It had to be four door so I was leaning to a Honda car (33mpg) and nearly 20k with 100k miles on them used. I have a Ram 2500 I use for towing and hauling but I rarely drive it. I hated the idea of not having the capability of my smaller Tacoma. I stumbled across Fords new Maverick truck, did a little research, when I saw the price and the fact I could still have a small truck if I need to make a stop at Lowes on the way home I could, and get 30mpg I ordered it. No build date yet but I think this will be the week! 🤞

Because Government is going to phase out private ownership of individuals owning vehicles, and implement regulatory action like kill switches be put into all vehicles after 2024.

Pure EV's are chains around the neck to reduce your ability to travel.

That's why I change out all my electronic ignitions for points and condensers. That way when the nuclear holocaust happens I can still drive to work.

use trucks that I like are just as much and have over 100000 miles on them, plus the way the markets are doing I lost this much and more in my 401. Should have order a lariat . Lol

Here's why I bought my Maverick. This is my 2018 Chevy Colorado on fire in my driveway. I needed a truck that I could flat tow, but there was no way I was ever putting myself back in the Colorado. Turned out the Maverick is a much better truck for my needs at a much lesser price.

Was to replace my Jeep renegade that was starting to have electrical problems and was a notorious oil burner. Ended up trading the Jeep for a 22 explorer XLT and gonna drive the wife's 2014 Tuscon until the Maverick shows up

For me, when Ford announced the Maverick it wasn't even on my radar. I was fine with my F150 and my wife's Forester. Then I bought a house and my daily commute suddenly increased to 46 miles round trip. The Subaru started consuming oil amount other issues and mileage was starting to get a little high on both. I was looking into the ranger and other midsize trucks and stumbled across the Maverick. The more research I did, the more I liked it. It gives me the gas mileage without much loss to interior space. The engine is a proven platform and there already seems to be quite the following which means lots of available upgrades in the future. I will be losing a bit of power (~400hp in my f150) but the weight ratio will lessen the blow. I have to have a truck for work and I occasionally tow. Price point was the final factor. I'm going to be paying the same overall cost as my 2014 f150 stx but for a brand new vehicle.

I had a 1993 Eurovan and a 2018 Fiesta which made a good combo. Then I got a dog, then I sold the Eurovan because it kept breaking down, then I had a child. The Fiesta didn't really make sense anymore. I wanted something that could carry a muddy dog and a family's worth of camping gear, mountain bikes and snowboards and still get decent mileage.

I was about to buy an Outback when they announced the Maverick. I put an order in pretty quickly and received it last week. Couldn't be happier with it so far!
